This is highly frustrating and I want to thank you all for plugging away and trying to work around it.  The continued support for TGO is greatly appreciated.   The thing that makes it extremely difficult from my perspective is that when I look in the software, I see no pending, no cancelled and no expired "invoices".  All I see when I search are paid invoices.  The software doesn't seem to be showing me the things that I should be able to see.

  Perfect!   Now I know what's going on, I can submit that info to IPB and hopefully get some sort of resolution.   Thanks for posting.

  That's not the same problem.  The problem you're describing is that you don't have a PayPal account.  You don't need a PayPal account either.

We had a mugging inside the parking garage stairwell at my company a few weeks ago in the middle of the day.  Details have been slow to leak out but apparently the perp intimated that he had a weapon, but never showed one.  Several of us generally do, so it's lucky for the perp that he chose someone a little more compliant.   A stairwell can work two ways for a robbery.  On one hand, if the victim complies it's a pretty secluded place to get away with some shit.  On the other hand, if your victim turns the tables on you, there's no place for you to run and an epic ass-beating can ensue.  I'll drag your ass back inside the stairwell and keep beating the ever loving shit out of you if you try to run after threatening to mug me and fail to produce a weapon.  :lol:

I have a support ticket open with IPB to determine how we can mass delete all of the expired renewals.  That seems to be the only resolution.

Fixed.  I see what happened; the forum software had expired the invoice but PP let it continue.  So the two never sync'ed up.  I also confirmed that the subscription was cancelled via PP so you shouldn't have that problem again.   Very sorry about the headache.

Don't let the DQ get stuck in your head or it'll ruin your enjoyment of the game.  At the end of the day that's all it really is anyway... a game.  As long as everyone leaves with the same number of holes they came in with, you all live to punch paper another day.  :)

The software is not supposed to be auto-renewing anything but I think some of the old PayPal "subscriptions" were still active.   What's the transaction #?  I can either issue a refund or I can make sure you get Benefactor status.  Your choice.

IMO a safety rule is a safety rule and there's no margin for mulligans.  The DQ exists to remind you that you violated a rule that could have put other people at jeopardy, not to punish you.  The stage may have been designed incorrectly but the burden of safety still rests on the shooter.   Did they not allow you guys to do a walk-through of the stage before you shot it?  That should have shown that there was a problem, especially if more than one shooter was eventually DQ'd because of it.

So does anyone else see the point that this clown was trying to make?  Granted, he made it as awkwardly as humanly possible and all people heard was the word "terrorism" but it seems that what he was trying to say is that if you incite panic by spreading false claims of danger with the public water supply, you are in essence terrorizing the public. And he'd be right.   But the hubub it caused sure does make good press.
