CPS forcibly removes a child from mothers womb ...
TGO David replied to RichardR's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'm the wrong guy to try to tempt into playing word games because I just don't play them. What I'm seeing is a person who offers nothing of value to TGO and who has instead chalked up quite a number of posts that are racist, inflammatory, baiting and narrow-minded. That path only leads one place... You're done here. -
That's likely the target demographic.

Robert, if I've learned one thing during your stay on TGO it's that only fools expend the time and energy to argue with you about anything. Which sort of leads into why I could care less about another dead celebrity: I have far too many relevant, important things going on in my own life to take on the burden of caring about something that happened to a guy who was famous for entertaining. If your life isn't preoccupied with more relevant issues than this, good for you. Is it sad on a basic human level? Sure, why not. Do I care enough about it to argue why you should care about it? Nope. Talk to me about a solider who has given his life in defense of countryman and you have my both my interest and attention. Don't talk to me about an actor who allowed himself to be propelled into a light pole in excess of 100mph while hooning around on the street and expect more than a "Meh" from me.

That's the reason of course. :) -

Historically it's not good when I start watching a person's posts. -
I really wish people wouldn't apologize for stating their opinion. Say what you mean and mean what you say. If you apologize at the end of your statement, you've given the reader no reason not to discount what you just wrote. But if you have no idea how they operate, how can you make the statement that they are most likely on the up and up? C'mon people... see previous comment. I had the privilege of using an AEGIS trainer a few years back and found it to be extremely valuable as a training aid. Of course, it shot back at you and the shots hurt... which is where the value came in. You learn quickly if you're using cover appropriately or not when your knee gets zapped with an 18mm projectile.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes? I'm having a hard time finding it within myself to mourn for another celebrity who essentially committed suicide. Besides, this guy and the movies he's made are largely responsible for glamorizing the "street racing" culture and helping it explode exponentially. No pun intended. It's kind of a good thing that the hot-rod Honda crowd gets to witness the mortality of one of their heroes. Maybe it'll smack some sense into them and they'll put less of us at risk on the streets as a result.

Are. They are here. Not that I agree, I am just trying to correct the part of this statement that made my head hurt the most. If you're going swing around a big word like "dystopian" let's make sure the rest of the sentence is correct. And for what it's worth, if this is the indicator that you needed to firm up your belief that things have gone to hell in a hand basket, your situational awareness is hosed. -
After reading the brief on this program, I see some practical value in it for the student looking to "learn more" but I don't see anything that has legs for the long-term. It looks like a program that a company might send aspiring managers or low-level existing managers through to give them some exposure to MBA thinking. It doesn't look like a program that would add a whole lot of value to a professional resume. That being said, I can think of far worse ways to spend $2500.

Great idea.

Here are a few to ogle... I think this one may become a Christmas tradition. This is an interesting blend of Rye, Bourbon and Scotch... And this one is an amazing limited edition bourbon... And it's more available brother... And here are three others. Two are just good to keep around. The third is very special...

I don't have time for assholes like that. Zero posts, retaliatory feedback = BAN.

As a Benefactor you should be allowed to without any problems. What forum in particular is giving you this error? -
Until Budweiser confirms that they are shipping to Syria, I think this comment is purely speculative.

The story doesn't really seem to substantiate the claim that it was a robbery gone wrong. It reads like a murder / suicide attempt... like he shot her and thought she was dead, then shot himself.
-
To be fair, only naive people think that.

Give Chip Cain a call. I can't imagine you have anything unusual that would require an in-person consultation, and there's far worse things than driving to Nashville if you do. :D

Welcome. :)

Please consider removing image extension restrictions
TGO David replied to tnguy's topic in Feedback and Support
To continue with what Mac said, the software already allows a lot of leeway in the way an image is presented to it. A lot of dynamically served images, while they may be a legitimate format such as GIF, JPG, PNG, etc. are presented via PHP or other active scripting language in such a way that our forum software doesn't recognize the resulting URL as a valid image. IPB errs on the side of caution to content injection which would allow malicious code to more easily execute in the context of your browser because of an image linked from a post on our forum. This is by design and won't change. -
I think I'm going to use the Noveske key-mod rail system on mine...

I'm with Oh Shoot... why deprive the government of the money it needs to continue subsidizing all of the deadbeats? The government has always been a faithful and responsible steward of our tax dollars.

Tobasco is for sipping. This stuff is for enthusiasts. If you're looking at 1-10 as your rating scale, Ghost peppers are around a 7.
