  1.   Welcome!  I've been looking at the PPQ M2 myself lately so I'd  love to hear your thoughts on it.
  2. I carry the same light. Great little piece of gear.

    MLK day

You know, I'm pretty simple when it comes to matters like this thread.  I default back to the old saw that if you can't say something nice, you probably shouldn't start a thread about it on TGO.  Or something like that.  Regardless... Caster... really???   Shameful.   This thread is done.
  4. Jordan, the page really seems to be  more advertising for a business that has been asked to either become a Vendor on TGO or not be promoted, than anything else.  As such I really can't allow this thread to continue.   We would still welcome FSD joining the ranks of Vendors who support this site.  But until that happens, advertising cannot continue -- second hand or otherwise.  It's not fair to our Vendors.
  5. Guys, let's be a little more tactful and a lot less destructive in the way we word thread titles.  Brian is a partner in Nashville Armory, not the sole owner of.  There's also no reason to sensationalize a headline on a thread like this when the shop in question is one of our biggest supporters.  They've got enough on their plate to worry about without a TGO member crafting a thread title that paints the shop in a bad light because of something a part-owner is going through.   Lastly, the guy is innocent until proven guilty.
  6. Welcome to TGO.
  7. Welcome to TGO.
  8. Welcome to the zoo!
  9. Site = A place Sight = What's on your gun   I too was thinking you meant you wanted an online backup facility for your computer.  As for backup sights, I run Magpul sights on my mid-length AR and run LMT sights on my short-barrel AR.
  10. I went back to work this past week but my voice is still not 100% and only within the past 3 days have I felt back to normal otherwise (energy level, stamina, etc.)   I still have a nice lingering cough and my voice sounds like I've been a chain smoker for the past 60 years despite being 18 years less that and not a smoker.
  11. Creeky, I saw this mentioned as being a product intro'd at the Consumer Electronics Show this year.  Might be worth looking into.   http://solarcooltech.com/
  12.   Yeah, I did the whole "sleeping sitting up" thing for the majority of this last week.  It was some of the worst sleep I've ever had and I'm very thankful to be able to sleep in bed again.   Thanks for the well wishes, folks.  I'm not going to lie... Friday night I was worried if I would still be here today.  We were ready for the trip to the ER.
  13.   Yes, I do.   That being beside the point, I am really kind of curious why so many of you Georgians are finding your way onto our forum just to argue with our members about open carry.  Are things just that dull on Georgia Packing?
  14.   Leonard has been living in Tennessee for at least 15 years.  Long before he started caring about firearms, he was pimping truck accessories to soliders in Ft. Campbell and trying to figure out how to make his black Ford Lighting the fastest thing at the track.  I don't know where you get your information, but I get mine from having known this assclown since the mid 1990s.
  15. Just a little something I've learned over the past week.  I thought it was just a bout of the flu.  Then I pretty much checked off every single symptom of walking pneumonia including anemia, violent convulsive coughing, persistent weakness, etc.   Today's day 7.  I am slowly starting to get better but I'm still very much wiped out and restricted to the couch.   This likely started as the flu, so you all need to be careful.  I can't imagine a child or an older person having this; it likely would kill them.
  16.   If you'll notice, though, the crime he was charged with was disturbing the peace.  If you are legally allowed to do a thing, but abuse the right to do that thing for shock value, there can be consequences.
  17.   We've really got to get past the idea that there's a loophole to justify the lack of common sense every time someone does something legal but stupid.  If it was inventory, it could have and should have been cased or cartoned.
  18. Welcome.
  19. Welcome and as has been said, thank you for your service.  :usa:
  20. http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/03/showbiz/paul-walker-report/index.html?hpt=hp_c2   So where are all of the idiots who said he was just driving along doing the speed limit, listening to some ABBA, minding his own business?
  21. I don't post about it on the Internet.
  22.   Not exactly.  It's a slightly higher proof than black label and is supposedly drained from the barrels that they selected for the "barrel tree" in Lynchburg.  A portion of the proceeds from sales go toward Operation: Ride Home that pays travel expenses to bring troops home for the holidays.
  23. How important is proximity to a major airport?
  24.   Thanks.  I know the mods appreciate comments like this and it lets me know we're doing the right things.  I appreciate it.
  25. I've used them for years and have always had great results.  Literally my procedure after buying any new firearm that I might conceivably carry has been to order an MTAC to go with it.
