  1. Creeky, I saw this mentioned as being a product intro'd at the Consumer Electronics Show this year.  Might be worth looking into.   http://solarcooltech.com/
  2.   Yeah, I did the whole "sleeping sitting up" thing for the majority of this last week.  It was some of the worst sleep I've ever had and I'm very thankful to be able to sleep in bed again.   Thanks for the well wishes, folks.  I'm not going to lie... Friday night I was worried if I would still be here today.  We were ready for the trip to the ER.
  3.   Yes, I do.   That being beside the point, I am really kind of curious why so many of you Georgians are finding your way onto our forum just to argue with our members about open carry.  Are things just that dull on Georgia Packing?
  4.   Leonard has been living in Tennessee for at least 15 years.  Long before he started caring about firearms, he was pimping truck accessories to soliders in Ft. Campbell and trying to figure out how to make his black Ford Lighting the fastest thing at the track.  I don't know where you get your information, but I get mine from having known this assclown since the mid 1990s.
  5. Just a little something I've learned over the past week.  I thought it was just a bout of the flu.  Then I pretty much checked off every single symptom of walking pneumonia including anemia, violent convulsive coughing, persistent weakness, etc.   Today's day 7.  I am slowly starting to get better but I'm still very much wiped out and restricted to the couch.   This likely started as the flu, so you all need to be careful.  I can't imagine a child or an older person having this; it likely would kill them.
  6.   If you'll notice, though, the crime he was charged with was disturbing the peace.  If you are legally allowed to do a thing, but abuse the right to do that thing for shock value, there can be consequences.
  7.   We've really got to get past the idea that there's a loophole to justify the lack of common sense every time someone does something legal but stupid.  If it was inventory, it could have and should have been cased or cartoned.
  8. Welcome.
  9. Welcome and as has been said, thank you for your service.  :usa:
  10. http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/03/showbiz/paul-walker-report/index.html?hpt=hp_c2   So where are all of the idiots who said he was just driving along doing the speed limit, listening to some ABBA, minding his own business?
  11. I don't post about it on the Internet.
  12.   Not exactly.  It's a slightly higher proof than black label and is supposedly drained from the barrels that they selected for the "barrel tree" in Lynchburg.  A portion of the proceeds from sales go toward Operation: Ride Home that pays travel expenses to bring troops home for the holidays.
  13. How important is proximity to a major airport?
  14.   Thanks.  I know the mods appreciate comments like this and it lets me know we're doing the right things.  I appreciate it.
  15. I've used them for years and have always had great results.  Literally my procedure after buying any new firearm that I might conceivably carry has been to order an MTAC to go with it.
  16. Welcome.
  17. It's an odd thing, really.  Kentucky has always had comparatively lax firearms restrictions in relation to Tennessee and many other states, and I think that has led to a certain amount of complacency among the people.  Tennesseans have had to fight hard for things like the HCP and the ability to carry firearms in restaurants that serve alcohol, so I think we're more appreciative of those things here and as a result are more engaged in furthering our rights and protecting the ones we already have.   I think that may be part of why the Kentucky gun forums aren't all that active.
  18. Hoards all of the nice things we can't have around here and sells them at gun shows.   ;)
  19. Once jumped out of a plane with a gun and no parachute.  Knows what he's talking about.
  20. Keeps sending suggestive pictures of himself dressed as a German beer maiden to my email account, asking if it's a fair trade for a TGO decal.  The worse part is... he never tells me where to mail the decal.
  21.   Or a mortician.  I keep hoping.
  22. It's been the Staff's opinion for a long time that this asshole gets enough of the wrong kind of attention on his own without our forum sending more his way.  Of course the tide has turned on him in the past few years as his antics have failed to produce the sort of windfall he's been hoping for, and the attention he's getting now is more of the type he deserves.  Like I said... karma is a bitch.
  23.   That's him.
  24.   http://info-about-leonard-embody-aka-kwikrnu.blogspot.com/   I'd buy a beer for the person responsible for that web site.
