The wine and bread were indicative of a final communion or Last Rites. The homeless lady was most certainly the angel of death. The wine-soaked bread also was "mysteriously" at the crash site, to indicate that Death had been there to claim Jax.

Yep. That was a good episode. Great series finale. Really glad they didn't screw us the way they screwed Sopranos fans.

We sure as heck watched it.

Congratulations!!!

What will your next gun be? Post a picture of it and why you want one

I like everything about it except the adjustable rear sight. That's the only thing that has kept me from buying one yet. -
Honestly it doesn't really matter either way. I can see reasons folks would want to delete particular info, but once Google or other sites index the forum threads -- and they do constantly -- that information is out there.

I've always chalked it up to people being lazy. Too lazy to edit the post to amend the fact that it was sold, so they just edit the post, <CTRL+A> to select all, DEL to delete and then add a line saying "SOLD" or some other such statement. Yeah, it's annoying.

So maybe it's just the Liberterian in me showing through but am I the only one who sees the hypocrisy in gun owners demanding business owners cave to our demands, yet we are the same group that gets our panties in a bunch when the anti-gun owners make business owners cave to theirs? The Second Amendment guarantees that the government will not infringe on our right to go armed the same way that the First Amendment guarantees that the government will not infringe on our right to free speech. Neither of those amendments guarantee that a private person or business entity cannot ask us to exercise our Rights anywhere but their private property. My rights end where someone else's begin. Sure, we all have the ability to spend our money with the businesses that we choose. I tend to spend my money with those that provide goods and services at a reasonable cost while providing good service and operating ethically and responsibly. If they support things that are important to me, such as the Second Amendment, I am even more inclined to do business with them... but if they don't, I will evaluate my options and may still do business with them for a variety of reasons. When I see a gun buster sign, I have a choice to make and I weigh that choice against various criteria and options. One of those options is to contact the management or owner and let them know that I would prefer that they not ask me to choose between my ability to defend myself and my family, and buying from them. But I won't leave a silly, passive-aggressive business card or decal telling them that no guns equals no money. I prefer dialogue over drive-by. But at the end of the day they still have the right to ask me to disarm, just as I have the right to shop elsewhere, and I respect that. I see both sides of the discussion and both are equally protected. I'm just not a fan of bullying business owners any more than I want to be bullied by Moms Demand Action or whatever the hell they're called. Just my $0.02 worth of pre-church rambling.

I've found myself wanting another full-size railed 1911 again lately. I'm inclined to go for the Sig TACOPS Traditional just to get the internal-extractor faithful all riled up. -
I've been trying to find some Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. Shoot me a PM and tell me where you found it so these other jackals don't beat me there. ;)

My most sincere condolences, Dave.

I have more M&Ps than any other manufacture of handgun. Enjoy yours.

It's surprising to see a Jennings in the wild and not at the bottom of a lake or river. :)

That's Gene Kennedy's operation. I didn't even know he was still in business. There was a time years ago where one of our members took pictures of his stupid booth at a gun show and posted them here, making fun of some of the crap he was hocking, and he immediately sent me one of those "I'm not a lawyer but I stayed at Holiday Inn Express last night" letters in the mail threatening to sue for slander. I had a real lawyer write him back and he went away. You should probably cut your losses and take photos of yourself burning that ID pouch and post them on the Internet for your own enjoyment. Edited to add... Looks like you're not the only one. http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/legally-armed/Murfreesboro-Tennessee/legally-armed-Gene-Kennedy-Never-received-merchandise-Murfreesboro-Tennessee-1172305

All done. I'm really not sure why the forum software did that. It's been "misfiring" on several things lately and it's really annoying.

I can fix this for you. Uno momento.

"D'oh, that's a big gun. Is that a 45 cal?"
TGO David replied to suspiciousmind's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Why be an asshole to a complete stranger? Maybe just try saying, "No sir, it's a 9mm" and be done with it. Or try concealing... but I mean, you're carrying a gun roughly the size of a framing hammer so it might be harder to do that. :D- 23 replies

Pro Safety Tip, folks... if you find yourself in the middle of an attack like this, the gas pedal is on the right. Put distance between yourself and the threat, immediately. Don't pussyfoot through it hoping they're going to stop attacking you. They aren't.
