  1.   It'd also not happen if they'd get people's freakin orders right!     ;)
  2. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess this guy doesn't have a carry permit.
  3. Merry Christmas! On behalf of myself and the Staff of moderators here at TGO, I would like to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas. I hope that you find yourself surrounded by friends, family and loved ones this holiday season. If for any reason you are spending it alone, I hope that you are doing so by your own choice and that you find comfort and restoration in the peace and solitude that it brings. If you are alone this season against your will, please seek out others to spend the day with even if it is by donating your time to serve the less fortunate through a local church or civic organization. And above all, please be sure to keep the reason for this season in your hearts. Rarely will you see me use TGO as a pulplit to preach from, however I would be remiss if I did not remind you that Christmas is truly about Christ Jesus and God's gift of his precious Son so that you could enjoy eternal life with Him. (Luke 2:1-20) If you are traveling this week, please do be careful out there. And please be mindful of what's in your luggage if you are flying. Don't accidentally forget ammo or a firearm and end up spending the holidays somewhere you wish you weren't. ;)
  4. Very generous.  Thanks!
  5. I've been tracking Kincaid for about a year now wanting to put a table in our house as well.  The Lambert has caught my eye recently and I almost pulled the trigger on the American Heritage used table they had recently.  My wife talked me into holding off for a bit longer to do some other things first.   I'll be interested in hearing how you like the Lambert going forward.
  6. Welcome Ron.
  7. Have you asked over on FJForums?  I used to be a very active member there when my wife and I both had FJs.
  8. Which one did you get?
  9. Be sure to tell them you read about them on TGO.  They've been inquiring about becoming a Vendor.  Hope to see them do it.
  10. Everyone starts somewhere whether it's blogging, vlogging, writing columns... whatever.  I think in order to be taken seriously, though, you are going to need to get past the idea of remaining anonymous and let your face be shown.  If you have no intention of growing this into something more than just a few videos from a guy who likes to shoot, then by all means keep the hood up and the gloves on.  Just be ready for people to make comments.
  11. Come sell away... come sell away... come SELL away with meeeeeeee....   :jester:
  12.   We need to talk about the buy-sell-trade pages you visit.  :D   Specifically, do we need to add a forum for that here?  ;)
  13.   Deprecated or under-appreciated?  :)
  14. The tactical bibbed overalls that the gentleman holding the snipper rifle is wearing tell me all I need to know.
  15.   Well to be clear, I think Islam is the root of the problem.   That a person can claim to be a Moderate Muslim is a bit apocryphal in and of itself as the fundamentals of the religion demand all or nothing.  BUT, the religion also allows for deceit on the part of a true believer (aka claiming to be moderate) in order to hide and wage jihad, so it's kind of a crap shoot.  If a fundamental tenant of your belief system is that you are allowed and encouraged to be dishonest in certain cases, how can anything you say about your religion truly be believed other than what is written about it by the mass-murdering pedophile [facts] who founded it?   The only honest way to assess a religion's true beliefs is to read what was written about it by the creator of the religion.   Now do I think that some modern, progressive Muslims want to believe that they can adhere to a watered-down version of Islam and eject the violent fundamentals in an effort to be walk on both sides of the fence?  Yes, absolutely.  There are good people who claim to be Muslim but don't believe all of what their religion actually requires them to believe.   But that's kind of kind saying you can be a Christian but not believe that Christ literally lived, died and rose from the dead.  If you buy into that line of thinking and try to pick and choose what you believe based on what is convenient to you, many --including myself-- would argue that you're not really a Christian.   The funny thing about religious belief systems is that you really have to go full-bore as a believer otherwise you're just doing your religion of choice lip-service.  Which brings us back to the notion that Islam can somehow be a religion of peace by ejecting the nasty bits about killing the unbeliever.  It can't because once you start ejecting fundamentals, you're not really adhering to the religion.   Like I said, my sincere hope that as many Muslims can be saved as possible.  But the ones who choose to do harm to others should be dealt with accordingly.
  16. I really struggle with the generalization that the only good Muslim is a dead one as is being advocated by a few folks in this thread.  For the sake of avoiding brash generalizations, consider for a moment that not all Spanish Catholics in the late 1400's murdered people under the auspices of the Spanish Inquisition any more than all Muslims are out killing children.  It was a select few and, statistically, is a select few in the current predicament.   That being said, Islam at it's fundamental root is a very vicious and evil religion as it pertains to how the unbeliever is to be treated, and that certainly cannot be ignored as more and more bloodthirsty sociopaths flock to fundamental Islam as a justification for the evil that they desire to do.   I support the wholesale elimination by whatever means necessary of radical, fundamental Muslim sociopaths seeking to commit murder but I also support the peaceful approach of prayerfully hoping that the moderate Muslim soul can be enlightened to the truth of Christ and saved.  Thus, the struggle.   I guess it all boils down to individual intent.  If the individual intends to do harm, we should intend to do greater harm first so as to dissuade them or make it impossible.  Conversely if they do not intend to do harm, then they should be allowed to live out life to it's natural end regardless of what belief system they choose to subscribe to.
  17. Have you seen this?   http://fox17.com/news/features/featured/stories/report-peyton-manning-could-buy-tennessee-titans-2015-3868.shtml     Honestly, I have never wanted to like Peyton Manning because of the savior-image Vols fans have always projected on him.  I moved to Tennessee in the height of Manning Fever and for some reason it just soured me.  That said, you can't deny that the guy knows how to play the game and he's really matured as an NFL quarterback since leaving Indianapolis.  I always liked to joke that his favorite position was the Fetal Position when he played for the Colts, because as soon as the defensive line crumbled he was quick to curl up rather than take a hit.   But, this might be the thing that fixes the Titans.  They do need a good house-cleaning from top to bottom and Peyton is a competitive player and savvy businessman.  I think it will take him or someone like him to straighten the franchise out.   The way it is right now, I'd be surprised if very many people keep their season tickets for 2015.  The current Titans suck.
  18. It's a good thing you wore gloves otherwise the NSA might have been able to scan your fingerprints from the video or spotted other identifying marks and tracked you back to your secret lair.  Thankfully there's no way for them to do that via your activity on YouTube or this forum.  ;)
  19. So what did you end up with?
  20. I carry mine in an A-Holster pocket holster more often than not, but also have a Comp-Tac MTAC for it if I want to carry IWB.
  21. I need to dig mine of the of the safe and see if it's the same.  It looks just like this.
  22. Sorry to hear you and your grandmother are dealing with this.  If these are truly the last of her days on this earth, may they be peaceful.   Hang in there.
  23. There's no such thing as a coincidence.  Someone was trying to get in.
  24. Yeah, I didn't take away a Jesus-correlation from the episode.  Sutter went to great lengths this season and particularly the last four episodes to make sure you knew that these were all complete criminals and that Jax was the worst of them.  That's not a Christ figure.   Jax with his arms outstretched was more symbolic of him welcoming death, IMO.  Not a crucifixion pose.  Milo's expletive was just that.
