Haha. That's like saying you'd buy a Coke if it didn't say Coca Cola on it.

I will only be offended if it's swill beer. 100% approved for craft beers. ;)

PVC. Stated several times in the post. :)

We've kicked this idea around before but I have a renewed interest in it. I am considering having some PVC rubber TGO "morale" patches made up. These would be identical to our TGO logo decals that we sell in the store, and would be 2-inches diameter, 3 dimensional, with velcro backings. They would be full color. The manufacturer I am talking to about this is well known in the tacticool industry and makes patches for a multitude of military units, law enforcement departments, organizations, etc. Cost would be somewhere between $8.00 and $12.00 depending on how many folks we get to participate. If you're interested and seriously would buy one (or a few) please vote in the attached poll so I can gauge interest. Examples of similar style of patches follow.

Michael is spot on here. Go ahead and engrave it now. It'll save you the headache and hassle of doing it later. If he's set up to do the engravings, by all means let him help you with that too. :) And you are correct, none of what the BATFE does makes a whole heck of a lot of sense.

The odds that anyone left in military or even political service in France was there during WWII are astronomically against it. With that in mind, and based on what I have read of the current generation of France's fighting forces written by members of our own elite forces (Rangers, SEALs, etc), running and surrendering are not in their vocabulary. I know, the fact that France's political leaders rolled over and played dead for Hitler in WW2 makes for an easy target and a funny joke. It's also disingenuous to their modern warfighters and, frankly, kind of tired and old. What we should be throwing jabs about is the fact that France seriously restricts private gun ownership in that country and none of that gun control was worth a hill of beans in these most recent terrorist attacks. Even the police are given the option to carry or not to carry a sidearm, and many of them reportedly opt not to. Why in the world?!? I suspect some officers may change their minds after this.

You know, I was looking back at this thread the other day and thinking about how badly I need to get back to the range. I also need to get back to the gym and back to hoofing it a few miles every day. Right now I would be the weakest link in my overall "self defense system".

Vice President Biden: "I may be Irish, but I'm not stupid."

You guys ever wonder if that irrelevant old assclown says stuff that he knows makes him sound like a complete jackass JUST to see if he can get away with it? -
http://raven-concealment-systems1.mybigcommerce.com/heckler-koch-phantom-modular-holster/ I'm a fan of the Raven Concealment Phantom. They have the VPN9 holster (above) in their "Ready To Ship" series which means you'll get it in a few days vs. waiting a few weeks. It's pricey but worth it.

 Sorry, I've been dying to use it for weeks now.

Both of those are extraordinarily hurtful. And true.

Believe it or not, he's actually married!

Sorry. :D But to be honest, this kind of makes me feel a little vindicated. Normally my co-pilot falls asleep on me unless I keep her awake by agitating her somehow. -
That's pretty slick.

I went through this recently. On previous trucks I've always had the Undercover brand of ABS hard shell. It worked great for security and weather-tightness but was a real pain to remove when I wanted to haul something large. Just before Christmas I ordered an Undercover Flex for my current truck, but I ended up with buyer's remorse and cancelled the order. I just use my truck far too frequently as a truck and knew it was $700'ish that really wasn't well spent. They are supposed to be outstanding tonneau covers and I did a lot of research on them before buying, but in the end I felt like I'd end up becoming frustrated with having any sort of cover on the bed. The rolling segmented type are supposed to be nice as well but I've seen some that didn't hold up. I would research those pretty heavily before buying one to make sure that I got the most durable option.

Thanks for caring enough to stop in and tell us you don't care.

TGO Logo Decals Once Again Available!
TGO David replied to TGO David's topic in TN Gun Owners Announcements
As a note to all who are ordering, I will be sending these out in batches once a week, typically on Wednesdays so that they arrive by the weekend. Those of you who order before 5pm on Tuesday will have yours mailed out to you on that following Wednesday. -
You just proved my point with the last statement. :) As for not covering your friend with a muzzle, have you used a flashlight? You don't have to aim them directly at something to illuminate it. ;)

I have an XDS 45 and have enjoyed shooting it, and the Mod 2 looks like a natural evolution. Unfortunately a lot of folks have really latched on to the "Grip Zone" molded into the grip and have amused themselves by making fun of it too much to give any other aspects of the gun a fair shake. If you shoot it well, will carry it religiously, and it goes bang every time you pull the trigger, I would say you have a keeper. Enjoy it. :)

Ok, I had to redo the invoice. Send me a PM with the email you want to be using and I'll try to change it behind the scenes.

Honestly I'm not sure. It's worth a shot.
