Yes it is.  But for the average person, the cost equals that of a new handgun so I can see why most folks won't sink the money on one.  It made short, easy work of the sights on my VP9 just like all of the single-purpose MGW tools did for the other handguns I've owned.

30SF.   The 26/27 just don't do anything right, in my opinion.  The slide is too fat to be a pocket gun, but the grip is too short to be a primary gun.   The 30SF is longer in the grip to make it feel a bit more like a 19/23 and ... well... it's a 45ACP.  That's God's Chosen Caliber.

Listen to your instincts.  Go to the ER if you're concerned *AT ALL* about it being heart related.  Heart conditions are one of those things you just can't afford to play around with.

Perhaps it's just the fact that crooked departments make it easier for crooked officers to thrive.  The Chief Law Enforcement Officer at whichever department you want to talk about sets the tempo for what happens beneath them.  If that CLEO is an honest, ethical person intent on defending the Constitution then the department will generally follow suit.  If they aren't, then it generally won't.   Really this is fundamentally no different than any other business with a good or bad boss at the top of the ladder.  The problem is that a bad boss in this particular role can really make it miserable on the citizenry.

  ^^^ This is my advice off the cuff.   I can tell you that I have owned both of the platforms you are interested in and that my preference (emphasis there) between the two of them is the M&P.  Springfield is difficult to deal with on spare parts and I had a few annoying little problems with my XD Tactical and my XD-M that made me finally move away from them.   That said, my wife prefers the ergos of the XD over the M&P so there you go.  We have a house divided.   But she loves my H&K VP9 which means I'm likely about to buy another of those.

Meh.  They're just running SocialEngine and trying to promote it as an alternative to FaceBook.  SE will never really be able to compete with that feature set.

Disregard.  I have one on the way.  $470'ish with the various pieces I needed was a hard pill to swallow but in the long run it's often cheaper to buy the right tool than try to make something else do the job.
