Gordon, my fear for you after reading all of this is that you've had some legitimate but minor complaints about this Wal-Mart store in the past, perhaps even recently, and that the District Manager and maybe even Corporate are going to discount your new claim about the Tire & Lube technician damaging your vehicle as yet another complaint from a disgruntled customer.  I'm afraid they will use the straw man argument of "We have a pile of complaints from this guy already and this is just the latest one.  If he is so unhappy with Wal-Mart, why does he keep coming back unless he's just gunning for a lawsuit?" and discount the claim as frivolous.   Unless they caught it on camera or someone is willing to step forward and affirm that the technician did indeed damage it for you, you may have a long uphill slog on your hands.   :meh:

  I think he was saying that in context with the fact that the guy was offensive to him in every other fashion.   It'd be like you finding out that the pacifist weirdo behind the counter was a Airman stationed in Afghanistan, and subsequently saying he must have been one of those Taliban-pacifying goat-screwing types.   I didn't read it that he thinks every Vietnam Vet has a pinup poster of [someone pissing on] Jane Fonda on the front of their gun safe.   :)

Holy FLINCH on empty!  That said, I could really care less how a person manipulates the slide on their semi-auto handgun so long as it is safe and effective, but by far the easiest for most people is the over-handed saddle grip behind the ejection port.

Wake me up when they offer a VP45.  This was necessary for them to pursue the striker-fired police service pistol market, but the .40SW is just not a cartridge I care about anymore.  Everything I carry now is either 9mm or .45ACP

It's generally going to be the same sight cut unless yours has adjustable sights.  That's why most sight manufacturers make that "exception" on their listings.

It's not entirely fixed.  We can read but a good percentage of the time when we try to reply, we're still getting an error.  This is leading to folks resubmitting the same posts over and over.   One of Tapatalk's developers has signed up here to do some testing and troubleshooting.  He's working on it but we don't have an immediate ETA available.

Do me a favor, guys... don't just hit POST over and over.  When you get the error, it posted.  Just come back and refresh the thread.   I've told them it's still not quite right.

I've been in contact with their support team, but the guy assigned to the support issue right now is in Spain so we're having to work around a time differential also.  More to come.

I am wondering if any of you mechanics (pro or shade tree) know of a place in Williamson County that will "turn" or lathe brake rotors.  I need to do a brake job on my F150 and the rotors still have plenty of life on them, but the surface needs to be lathed smooth.   There was a place between Smyrna and LaVergne over in Rutherford Co. called 1st Chance Tire or something like that, that would turn rotors for you.  I figure someone on this side of the area does it too, I just haven't been in Williamson County long enough to know where.

Tapatalk's support team said the API key for our forum had become corrupted and suggested they issue a new key.  I've done this and, on my device, it looks like it might have corrected the problem.
