  1. Very glad to hear they stepped up quickly. Please let me know how quickly they remedy this, too?
  2. Believe me, I have spoken with several of the moderators numerous times over the past few years about potentially jettisoning all political conversations that have nothing to do with the Second Amendment from the forum entirely. Some folks on TGO seem to be oblivious to the idea that the right to bear arms crosses both sides of the political aisle and that a gay Democrat from New York can be just as passionate about her right to own an AR-15 as a barrel-chested, corn-fed Republican country boy who served two tours in Afghanistan and presently works in the oil fields of Texas to support his wife and 2.5 kids is. We are all supposed to be here to talk about firearms, the Second Amendment, shooting stuff for fun, and using these inanimate objects we all like as means to teach responsibility, put food on the table, keep us from taking up golf on the weekends, and protecting ourselves from those who would do us harm. I think if we stuck to talking about those things, we'd probably pick up a lot of traffic again. Come to think of it, I may have just talked myself into making that a policy change for TGO. Do we really need this place to be yet another damned fountain of political vitriol on the Internet? Unless it's directly related to Second Amendment issues, I think the answer to that is... NEEDS to be... NO.
  3. Overall traffic stats are similar to what they were this time last year. We almost always see a dip in traffic during the summertime; this is nothing new. We saw a spike in traffic recently that seems to coincide with the Orlando tragedy, but nothing near as dramatic as we saw after the tragedy in Newtown, CT. I attribute that bubble to "panic buying" and doubt we will see anything like it again unless the anti-Second Amendment crowd really makes headway and looks to stand a credible chance of destroying our right to bear arms. Let's hope that doesn't happen. Traffic on a web site, be damned, we don't need that in our lives. As for the correlation with the new software, I think some folks who were casual visitors may have found themselves locked out due to having not kept their email addresses up-to-date over the years and now being unable to reset their passwords. I've put notices about that everywhere I possibly can and have reset dozens of account passwords for people over the past few weeks. Anyone who is still butting their heads against that door might be past the realm of help. I mean, seriously, there are no less than four ways for a person to contact me to have their account reset. At a point, you have to assume the mouse just isn't going to find the cheese... Beyond all of that, the feedback we've gotten about the new software seems to fall into three categories, as expected. 1. I like it 2. I don't have an opinion 3. I don't like change of any sort If you are in Camp #3, you ought to give it a chance but have probably made up your mind that you won't. I doubt I can help you.
  4. Ya'll better not start that. I'll add a "service fee" next time for dealing with impatient people!
  5. Thank you to all who ordered! Ordering is now closed for the tumblers. This weekend I'll be tallying up totals and submitting them to the supplier for engraving!
  6. Just as a reminder... ordering ends after today! http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/store/category/4-tgo-logo-swag/ This is a pre-order. The ordering window for this product will be open through Friday, June 17th. Once the ordering window closes, we will be sending a bulk order for production which could take 1-2 weeks. We will ship these out to you as soon as they arrive back in our hands. Approximate estimated delivery is the last week of June.
  7. Also it appears that edearl was successful. ???
  8. I simply cannot reproduce this and quite a few folks have purchased Benefactor memberships lately as well as other swag items. I need an error code or a screen shot or something to help me help you. Have you tried from a different browser??
  9. I've been floored by how many have been ordered so far!
  10. We're ordering a BUNCH of these things it looks like. I will turn the order in to the supplier this weekend and we'll just have to see what they say the turnaround is going to be. I hope the turnaround is quick, but it will depend on how many engraving systems they have I'm sure.
  11. Got to ask. What did you do? Others may be suffering the same problem.
  12. Looking at our logs, this is a Hotmail issue. Hotmail is throttling how many emails we can send to any Hotmail addresses per hour. If email is important to you, I'd switch to Gmail.
  13. I can tell you definitively that emails are being sent out and received. Are you 100% certain you are using your @hotmail.com address?
  14. Dunno. You're the first person to report that. The issue from the first upgrade was the fact that you were a member back in 2008 when we used entirely different software. The upgrade broke the way your old password was being interpreted. Basically it also means you were using the same password since 2008 which is kinda bad.
  15. LOL I get it man. You're as entitled to take that stance as they are to take theirs. That's all I'm saying. Well, that and TGO really does seem to go through a different version of this conversation every time a new range opens. The key lesson in this seems to be a reminder that a lot of Pro-2A folks are also very liberterian at heart (small L). They don't like folks telling them what to do or how to do it.
  16. We go through similar conversations any time a new range opens up... "They won't let me shoot reloads there? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They require me to buy and shoot their ammo? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They require a safety class before letting me shoot on their range? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They won't let me do rapid-fire shooting on their range? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They won't let me shoot my .454 Casull on their range? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They won't let me shoot my NFA items on their range? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They won't let me shoot human-shaped targets on their range? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They charge HOW much? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They won't let me shoot from a draw? I'll never darken their doorstep!" "They won't let me take head-shots on the targets? I'll never darken their doorstep!" Guess what, folks. There are plenty of people who will do whatever the requirements are to shoot on a state of the art facility. Clearly the people signing the big fat check to build the range get to dictate whatever terms they want. It's a free country. The NRA isn't perfect but no organization is. Church, fraternity, civic organization, take your pick. All have detractors. Only the NRA has a pimp-ass state of the art shooting facility about to be built in Murfreesboro. Besides, for each of you who say you won't shoot there, that's one more person I don't have to wait in line behind when I want to go shoot.
  17. I have updated the Tapatalk add-on to the latest version this morning.

  18. Yes indeed. Check out the new options in the editor too! There's now a Post Preview button that looks like a magnifying glass. Of course you won't see that in Tapatalk but it's there for the web site and native mobile view.
  19. Please Note... I have upgraded our forum software to the latest this morning. A task to re-index threads and posts is underway and as a result for a few hours the "New Content" search will be lagging behind again. My apologies for the inconvenience.
  20. Thanks for the orders, everyone!
  21. Tumblers are available for ordering! http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/store/category/4-tgo-logo-swag/ This is a pre-order. The ordering window for this product will be open through Friday, June 17th. Once the ordering window closes, we will be sending a bulk order for production which could take 1-2 weeks. 22. So here's what pricing looks like... 20oz RTIC ... $30 30oz RTIC ... $35 I can save us some money on postage by using USPS First Class "Shoe Box" shipping for quantities 1-2 and the cost will be around $7.00 - $8.50 depending on where you are and whether it's just one or two in the box. The most expensive rate at $8.50 was sending one to Seattle, WA just to get an idea of what the outer limit of cost was going to be. So unless you live in Alaska or Hawaii you should be within that range. The Flat Rate boxes just cost what they cost. For 3-4 of these things we're talking about either the Medium Box or the Large Box. I am going to post these in the TGO Store today.
  23. Update 6/1/16... OMG!!!! It is proving to be damn difficult to get the ordering for these to work properly through our "Store" system. I may just end up asking you to send me your orders via a PM with your email address and then I'll invoice you via PayPal or something. Please don't do that just yet... still trying to get the ordering system to work properly.
  24. Send me a PM with your current email address and what password you want. I'll merge the two accounts.
  25. Send me a private message with what the shipping address should be and I'll fix it.
