  1. I will. May try to do a "make up" order in August!
  2. Of course I am. I thought this was resolved. EDIT... You still had several pending invoices in your member profile. I just cancelled all of them. It should work for you now?
  3. I have updated our "code of conduct" (Rules) this afternoon to add one new one. This comes on the heels of a conversation with a former Vendor / Sponsor of TGO who had expressed some concerns to me via email about our advertising program. Specifically, they voiced a concern that I have long suspected existed because of the amount of latitude that we have historically allowed our members when it comes to airing grievances. Folks, it is vitally important for our continued existence that TGO have sponsors who are willing to pay to advertise here. We need their patronage! Further, it is usually very beneficial for our members when we have sponsors because those sponsors generally go out of their way to provide perks to TGO members. When things work smoothly, we have excellent mutually beneficial relationships between TGO, Vendors and Members. However, the speed at which and distance to which verbal attacks on a person (or in this case a Sponsor) can spread on the Internet are staggering. One person with a chip on their shoulder can slander the reputation of a business or individual from the relative anonymity of their keyboard, and do terrible financial damage. It's one thing for that to happen in the wild wide-open of the Internet. No one can really protect against that. But it is another thing entirely for it to happen within the confines of a community like TGO, and made even worse when the Sponsor is helping pay for the service that makes that slander possible. Think about it for a moment. Why would YOU want to pay to make it possible for someone to trash your reputation? Legitimate, reasonable complaints against a vendor should be taken up with them PRIVATELY and them be given the chance to resolve the issue. This has always been my stance, however it was never codified into an official rule or policy on TGO. I have addressed that short-sight in this new rule. Your cooperation, if not your understanding, is appreciated. As always, you can read all of the TGO Rules (all eight of them) at this link: http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/guidelines/ Rule #8.) Absolutely NO Vendor / Sponsor Bashing Bashing our Vendors / Sponsors in the open forum will not be tolerated for any reason. If you have a problem with a Vendor or Sponsor of TGO, contact them via a private message (PM) or email them directly. If they do not help you after you contact them via PM, let one of the site administrators know and we will check into the matter. Anyone bashing a Vendor or Sponsor in the open forum will be subject to being banned. The length of the ban will be up to the administrators. We have yet to see a forum sponsor fail to help a member with a complaint if the complaint is legitimate and reasonable. These folks help keep the lights on around here and we will not be party to biting the hand that helps feed us.

  4. If you can get a screenshot and email it over to admin at tngunowners dot com, I would really like to look at it and send it over to technical support for assistance.
  5. Try switching to the other theme at the bottom of the screen. Tell me if it still happens? If it doesn't, then it's a problem with the default theme.
  6. Really glad you like them! I haven't tried coffee in mine yet but, damn, they keep cold drinks cold for hours!
  7. No joke at all. I keep my 30oz loaded with ice-water around the clock. I take it with me to work and top it off there throughout the day. At night it's on the night table beside my bed. In the morning there's always still ice inside it! These things are pretty awesome.
  8. The lag issue definitely comes and goes. I'll have to check out Digital Ocean and see what they have. We were quoted a new server by our current hosting company recently and it was nearly double our monthly cost. It hurt just seeing the number on screen.
  9. Yeah the handles will definitely work with these but most certainly will block some of the logo. The 30's really beg for a handle, too.
  10. Glad you all like them!!!
  11. Yep! Picked up by the PO on Wednesday. Folks should have them arriving today, tomorrow, Monday!
  12. PS: That brown one contains five (5) of the 20oz tumblers. You know who you are!
  13. Postage has been printed, the USPS has been paid, and I am scheduling a pick-up of the boxes as soon as their site lets me do so. This was an interesting experience, for sure. I hope everyone likes their tumblers when they arrive!
  14. Wow, very nice gesture on someone's part and GREATLY appreciated!
  15. Yeah, it was eye-opening as the pile of boxes kept growing. The good news is these all show something like 1-3 day shipping depending on what ZIP code it is going to. If we are able to get the postage labels all printed out today, it's possible they will be picked up by Tuesday if the USPS lets us schedule it that soon.
  16. Whew... next step, printing postage! My middle daughter helped sort, tape and pack so ya'll are fortunate beneficiaries of forced "child" (she's 20) labor.
  17. Boxing up tumblers today and printing out postage! 40-something boxes of them going to the post office this week.
  18. Their small batch is very, very good. A bit hot, but if you find it too strong you can always open it up a little with an ice cube or splash of water. Willet Family Estate Rye is amazing.
  19. Since some folks have repeatedly proven that they cannot handle the responsibility of NOT posting profanity in picture form, we have deleted the "Funny Pics" thread.

  20. Ah... good ole R2-FU.
  21. Yeah, I'd say we ordered a few of these...
  22. One leg of the robot you're building to take over the world?
  23. There are days lately I'd like to have my dial-up modems back! This... This was "the business" right here, just before I went broadband back in 1997.
  24. Thanks folks. I am optimistic for the moment -- the work I did overnight to address what I feared were software issues may have put us back in the green for the immediate term. A server upgrade is inevitable, it seems, but I am weighing my options. Doubling the monthly hosting cost is still a hard pill to swallow.
  25. Thanks. Yeah, I am a member over there also. The new password requirements they put into place are absurd.
