  1. Most folks don't publicly post email addresses on web pages because it attracts spam. The web forms you fill out generally send an email to an email address that they respond from.
  2. Guns & Leather was a long-time faithful supporter of TGO and there was absolutely no drama at all involved in their decision not to renew. I asked Daniel about it shortly after their ad campaign expired earlier this year and he simply stated that he thought the shop might be going a different direction with their advertising. We would obviously love to have them back and I would say that their support of TGO for the many years that they were a Vendor here should make anyone who reads this want to patronize them still. If you do, tell them we said "Hi"
  3. Hey gang. David Cooper at Everything Weapons has asked me to pass along to you all that they are looking to hire for three part time and three full time positions. If you're a gun enthusiast and have ever wanted to work in a gun shop, this is a great opportunity to do just that. You can apply in person daily: Everything Weapons 7061 Moore Lane Suite B Brentwood, TN 37027 Or email sales@everythingweapons.com
  4. I did a software update today. I guess this fixed it.
  5. Welcome. Thanks for the compliment. What type of web site are you trying to put together?
  6. I really wish we could get to the point on TGO where a discussion could take place without someone making it personal and attacking someone else. I'm just about to the point of assuming it won't happen on its own and that moderators are going to have to start getting more involved. As for the question, you would be incorrect. It doesn't take much reading through the blogs of top competitors to see that dry-fire practice is a big part of their regimen.
  7. I have had several reminders lately of why you don't tell anyone, even friends, about ideas that could lead to making money. Hindsight sucks like that.
  8. Looking at the EXIF info on those photos it was 2009. EXIF info is intact if anyone doubts.
  9. Found 'em... uploading to SmugMug. Will post in a sec.
  10. So... no joke... I did a prototype of something very similar back in 2008 or so. Called it the Tac Sac. Made it out of a pic-rail sling swivel and a keychain size pair of "truck nuts". I made the mistake of showing it to a few people, one of whom claims it was his idea now. Back then my wife and I thought about patenting it but I [foolishly] decided that it probably wasn't going to generate enough money to be worthwhile so I dropped it. I'll see if I can dig up the old photos and stuff I did of the prototypes and post them here because I'm sure this sounds fairly far fetched. At least my Tac Sac dangled.
  11. I figured we needed to get these out there ahead of Halloween, the return of The Walking Dead and the November elections. All places where you are likely to encounter brainless, brain-hungry zombies. ORDER YOURS HERE: https://teespring.com/tgo-keep-tennessee-zombie-free#pid=369&cid=6513&sid=back This TeeSpring campaign runs til September 9th. Available this time are Men's Tees up to 5XL, Long Sleeve Tees, Sweatshirts and Ladies Tees. TeeSpring doesn't offer tall tees from what I have seen yet, so my apologies. Buy them for your shorter friends and be thankful that you're long legged and can run faster when the zombies rise up. Like the old saying goes, you don't have to be faster than the bear... just faster than the other guy. Front: Back:
  12. Posts deleted. Let's stick to being nice to each other and talking about guns.
  13. I can't say it any better than Mac did ^^^^ Hang in there and do not hesitate to lean on folks!
  14. By popular request... I am glad to present you with another opportunity to buy a new TGO t-shirt. New Design! Larger Sizes (up to 5XL) and a Long Sleeve option too! This time I made the TGO logo on the front a little bit smaller (lesson learned) and decided to take a big swing at the nervous nellies and anti-Second Amendment hand-wringers out there who seem not to understand that the Black Rifle is just the musket of the modern era. Ordering closes on Monday, September 5th. Be sure to get yours while they are available as this design won't come back soon. ORDER HERE >> https://teespring.com/tgo-what-don-t-you-understand#pid=369&cid=6513&sid=back
  15. Two minor updates today: 1. Tapatalk has been updated to the latest version. 2. The Trader Feedback application has been updated to the latest version. As always, Trader Feedback likely will not be visible in any way to you if you are using Tapatalk.
  16. I love this thread!
  17. Check with local swimming pool companies. Those fuses can be used in control systems for pool filtration.
  18. It's not entirely uncommon for arson investigators to be armed due to the potential for run-ins with the arsonists.
  19. Merv's is great. Do they still only accept cash and keep an ATM in the restaurant?
  20. Does ARFCOM even offer counseling services?
  21. That was stupid on the resident's part and he at the very least should have received a tongue lashing from the police. The use of deadly force to protect property is not justified in Tennessee, first of all, and secondly the resident was no longer on his property when he entered the public street to confront the motorist. Going off of your property, brandishing a firearm, to confront another citizen on public property to ask them "what the hell they are doing" is just stupid no matter the circumstances. He could have easily been arrested for brandishing a weapon. Probably should have been.
  22. Well, it's only an accusation and even the EEOC stated that the Gadsden flag has no ties to racist. Anyone can make an accusation and there's a risk it will make the news. I could state something insane like, "Hillary Clinton is an honest and forthright person of high moral fiber" and it might make the news too. It'd be complete bovine excrement but it could make the news.
  23. Welcome back!
  24. The accounts of all winners have been updated! I want to again thank the generous folks who made this possible. It's amazing the type of community that we have here at TGO. Not many places will you find people doing things like this for those who are frequently complete strangers. You ALL are the reason why TGO is the best forum on the Internet. Thanks again for making TGO what it is!
