  1. @NoBanStan... dig it. Green bar.
  2. I'm going to take a different tact... DON'T BECOME COMPLACENT! With a 2A-friendly President incoming and a GOP-controlled House and Senate, now is the time to keep pushing for gains in favor of the Second Amendment. Push hard for the changes in legislation that we want to see! The fight isn't over. The fight is never over. Reagan wasn't as strong of a 2A ally as folks think, but he was a smart man and he wisely observed that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
  3. I've cleared the server-side cache within the forum itself. Let's see if you still have problems accessing chat?
  4. Eh... I've got one thing I could try to see if it's maybe cached server-side, but I would have to close the forum down to try it. That'll have to wait til later tonight or early tomorrow when the traffic is down some.
  5. Maybe clear your browser cache?
  6. No idea. It's working fine for me so I can't replicate that issue.
  7. It will take some finessing on my part to make the greenbar appear since a lot of our graphics pull from Amazon S3 at this point.
  8. I do. Watching the video now.
  9. This is a pretty good, short video featuring Adam Kraut, Esq. going over what he thinks the election of Trump really means for us as relates to the HPA.
  10. You may notice today that you were asked to sign in again unexpectedly. This is because I have converted TGO to a securely signed site using a SSL certificate which encrypts your session and all traffic to and from our server to your client device. This provides an added layer of security not only for the site but for all payment transactions for Benefactors. It will also soon be required for anyone who uses Tapatalk from an Apple iOS device. If you experience any problems with the new SSL configuration, please use the Feedback and Support forum to let me know.

  12. I've flown several times now with a firearm and it has been simple and painless. Glad to hear you had no real issues either.
  13. Really interesting. It sounds like having the new chat feature shown on each screen was somehow screwing up logins. I'll add that to the list of things they need to fix.
  14. I moved it in the code, not on the screen. Right now you shouldn't see it at all. I've disabled it until the support team can work through our issues.
  15. I just moved the Comet Chat code around in our HTML ... I wonder, did that make any difference?
  16. I think this may be fixed now. Can you confirm?
  17. Joe, North Carolina is a beautiful state; you could do far worse than moving there. But one thing I noticed while in NC this last week myself is that they too have the Internet and I was able to get onto TGO from there as well. I hope that we still see you around! Take care and Godspeed.
  18. It's designed entirely to frustrate you. Specifically. Those are the most recent people who have logged into the forum and been active in browsing. There's an option to turn that off, but it would confuse and frustrate you even more by showing only people who are in your "Contacts" list within the forum. And hell if I know where that's managed.
  19. I've re-enabled the native IPB chat feature if you guys want to move back to it until this is sorted out.
  20. Ah. The key to making the "no scroll" happen is to actually click into and type into a chat window. Bummer. I'll report that also.
  21. I am working with their support on the lack of member names in the chat area. If you hover over the avatar place-holder, it shows who the person is, but that is a pain in the butt. I had the browser do that "no scroll" thing to me once tonight but I cannot reproduce it reliably.
  22. I think maybe I just found the right setting to turn that feature off. It's cached so give it a bit to clear out and see what happens.
  23. Let me get right on that for you. I'll take a look at it in a bit.
  24. Folks; I am going to quickly move us over to a different realtime chat feature on TGO. The team at InvisionPower have decided to abandon their native Chat product and discontinue all support for it next year. They are recommending that forums adopt CometChat due to superior integration with IPBoard and good support from both companies. I've taken them up on their recommendation and bought a license for CometChat. Soon you will find the Chat feature is accessible at the bottom right-hand side of every screen on TGO. I also understand that it integrates very nicely with Tapatalk which is a bonus for fans of that platform. Further, the license that I bought allows for unlimited participants which is quite an improvement over the maximum occupancy of 20 that we have currently. Be on the watch for this change on TGO. https://invisionpower.com/forums/topic/433639-ips-chat/#comment-2662274
  25. We drove across the Smoky Mtns twice this past week to and from Asheville, NC. Most recently, yesterday. The smoke was pretty thick even near I-40. Quite the shame.
