  1. Um... weird.
  2. Weekly is fine. We don't really have a rule on it, we just ask that people not be so aggressive with trying to shove their ad constantly to the top of the search results that it becomes annoying.
  3. Yep, for sure. I'll meet someone within about 20 minutes of where I live but I'm not driving any further than that if I am the seller.
  4. That one was 100% my fault. I should know better than to try to multi-task while doing work on the forum.
  5. Well, f#!@. I think it's really fixed now.
  6. Update 6/21/2023 @ 3:00PM Central I think maybe the bug with the TOS being shown repeatedly is fixed now.
  7. OK, this is a confirmed bug. They may have a fix for it but I will have to take the forum offline this afternoon to try it out.
  8. I have been able to confirm the same issue. Like ChuckTShoes said... it goes away when you login, so... login. I am going to review it with the software developer and see if anyone else has reported it, though.
  9. Can I get a screenshot or permission to log in as one of you guys to see if it shows up the same for me? I don't need your password - I can override that and sign in just to take a peek.
  10. I haven't noticed that yet but I did just clear the system cache which sometimes solves problems like this. Let me know if it's still happening?
  11. McKenna is absolutely horrid stuff, tastes like swamp water, and will make a man's testes shrink. Everyone should avoid it!
  12. Oooo.... yes. I need to know someone who owns a wire EDM machine. This has WIN-WIN written all over it.
  13. Has anyone mentioned taking it to a machinist yet?
  14. Very nice! I love the jungle tiger stripe camo.
  15. A person can easily spend a lot of money on knife sharpening equipment and, to an extent at least, I feel that there is a reasonably good return on the investment if you care about your knives and really want them to be in the best shape possible. That said, a lot of knives have been sharpened over the years without much more than a steady hand and soap stone... so clearly the fancy stuff isn't entirely necessary. I have a KME sharpener that I've added some components to over the years and have never regretted spending the money on it. If I were sharpening knives as a source of income I might want something a little fancier, but the KME meets all of my expectations. Another option that has been greatly improved recently is the Worksharp system with their "Professional Precision Adjust" sharpener. It looks like they are restocking them today on their website, but will probably sell out quickly again given the popularity of the new system. 16. Summary Upgrade of forum software for June 2023 Explanation Invision Community 4.7.11 Released 06/14/2023 This is our June maintenance release. Key changes include: Strengthening Community Trust with Privacy and PII Data Features New Reporting and Statistical Capabilities https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/4711-r122/
  17. I like the Spartan Harsey! I have a plain jane stonewashed Spartan Harsey that I keep telling myself I should work into my carry rotation. Great knives.
  18. So, I had Zach do another one for me. This time I sent him a Brouwer Solutions M811 grip module for my Sig P320 and asked him to work his magic. The M1811 grip module is really nice but rather slippery in the hand. Brouwer offers a service where they will coat the grip panels with silicon carbide for extra grip, which would be ideal for competition use but a little severe for everyday carry. Rather than go that route, I had Zach stipple mine with the same texture that he put on my Staccato grip and... WOW... he knocked it right out of the park again.
  19. Yes. By appointment only at the moment. His storefront is still under construction.
  20. I'll keep trying to polish it.
  21. I suspect that I know which thread you're talking about. What was seen publicly was only the tip of the proverbial iceberg and the guy who started that thread had seriously lofty expectations, beyond the norm, of his fellow TGO members. He had a very flawed sense of entitlement, and no one was going to satisfy him without taking extreme measures. It has been rare for us to experience people backing out of a sale without good reason to do so. It has happened, but it is rare. Don't let the extreme minority sour your opinion of anything. No matter what lake or pond you fish in, your lure is going to float past a few turds beneath the waves. I made that saying up. It still needs some work.
  22. It may not be the closest option to Nolensville but I really like working with @sigbrown1297 over at Thompson's Station Armory. His new location is just right off the 840 at Hwy 31.
  23. John Wick movies. Various TV or streaming series. Basically, bandwagon riders causing the rules of supply and demand to skew heavily in favor of the liquor stores and wide profit margins. I'm to the point where if I discover a whiskey or bourbon that I like, I don't talk it up to anyone.
