  1. Haven't you been following the coffee thread on here? We've been plugging them for a while!
  2. It's worth the $35 to join and support their efforts until someone proves otherwise. You'll pay more for two boxes of carry ammo than you will to pay your annual dues with them. Which reminds me that I need to renew.
  3. It should be gone now. Let me know if it's not?
  4. I can fix that. It's part of their normal "nag" but I am about to disable it.
  5. I have a Samsung Note 8. I'll check TGO from there and see what's up.
  6. You're seeing the Ad itself within the Classifieds which show up in the Activity Stream, and you're seeing the thread that it creates in the forums for each ad. It's working as designed.
  7. I've made quite a few changes this morning to the categories for items. I've also changed the way the button was labeled for closing an ad. Previously it was listed as "Complete This Advert" which was confusing quite a few people. It's now labeled as "Close This Ad"
  8. I could add that, but is it getting too specific?
  9. Just email it to "dissident@mail.gov.cn" and I am sure they will see it.
  10. If you live near a source of Amplitude Modulated (AM) broadcasting, you may very well be picking up signal. I've seen this happen before with DMMs that had very sensitive inputs.
  11. What happens when the leads are plugged in? A good auto-ranging meter shouldn't behave this way but most of those have a small choke (several micro-Henrys) across the input terminals to prevent the input terminals from acting as antennae without a load present. If it acts this way with the leads hooked up, I'd return it to the store just to be safe and see if another of the same model does the same thing.

  13. Moving this thread out of the Benefactors Lounge and into the public eye so that folks will see it and hopefully read it.
  14. Fort Watauga. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fort_Watauga
  15. Royal Range is a Vendor on TGO, so while the format of the initial post may not include some of the information we were asking for back in 2012, the spirit of what we were after was met. Because it is so easy for anyone to advertise themselves as a "Trainer" regardless of credibility, we have had problems over the years with folks spamming the site to get their name out there. We've even had that problem from fairly established training organizations over the years. But RR is good to go as relates to this particular thread. Thanks for being on the watch for it, though.
  16. Ok, last bit of an update. I figure I will throw the switch and make this active later today, but... When I do this, I will most likely deactivate the ability to start new threads from within the Trading Posts forum and instead route people to the new Classifieds feature to post new items for sale. The Tapatalk crowd may not like it, but it's the only way this is really going to work effectively for everyone and frankly once again I am very fed up with the limitations that Tapatalk brings us. From now on my stance is going to be, "If you use Tapatalk on TGO, you will be limited by that platform. If you want all of the features that TGO offers, you won't use Tapatalk." Kind of a hard-lined approach but it has to be that way for us to continue to evolve and offer more services.
  17. Nice. I received my letter and plate number today! It will probably be next week before I can stop by and pick it up. Post a pic of yours! Blur the # out if you want.
  18. It occurred to me that I can, and already did, set up "Tags" so that a vendor's posts would be tagged as a Vendor item for sale. We'll probably go live with this feature this weekend!
  19. Good question. I don't think so, out of the box, but I will see i there's some way I can differentiate them.
  20. Let's see if it stops now.
  21. You can renew it.
  22. LOL. Keep the feedback coming folks.
  23. There are several threads about this. I answered it in the other one. What's the latest date/time that your most recent emails were sent?
