  1. I was originally going to say the SP101 like quite a few other folks but since you seem to want the longer barrel I'd go with the GP100 SS. You can get either the 3" or 4.2" barrel. My dad has the 4.2" and it's a hoss for sure. The bonus is the extra round over the SP101.
  2. I've got a feeling that we will be seeing more of that as brick and mortar shops attempt to compete with online ones. Can't say I blame them.
  3. http://www.baconbarter.com/ Some of his first barters were wasteful IMO. He won't make it unless he get's serious or they rig the outcome. Bartering for fuel is going to eat up a bunch of bacon.
  4. At lunch today my desktop wouldn't load but Tapatalk worked.
  5. I agree. They can be as cheap or expensive as someone wants to spend.
  6. Agree. For referenece YANKEE2500 sells his 9mm on this site for $35/1000.
  7. I'll give you $175 without even seeing it.
  8. Sell it. For what a shop will give you on a trade in you'd be better just sticking it in a drawer.
  9. Same thing I was thinking. Nice score though.
  10. Pretty cool stuff. One thing is for sure, if we ever get hit with an EMP, the horse will still work and help you get your food harvested.
  11. Very nice! Are those VZ Grips?
  12. Just in case you aren't aware, today is International Bacon Day. I had some this morning to celebrate...yum yum. http://bacontoday.co...al-bacon-day-2/
  13. You might want to check this one out. It locks on tight for sure believe it or not. You can get it in red or green. Very good value IMO. Edit: For some reason it looses the link to the exact item I wanted to show. To view you will need to go to wing shooting, page two, Glo Dot II Universal. http://www.truglo.co...LTI_ITEM_SUBMIT
  14. Cool picture. Don't blink...they grow up FAST!.
  15. Check with some of the skeet ranges because I think some rent guns. If so it might be the best route until you know it's something she wants to do long term. In college I shot a lot of Trap and ended up buying my own gun. It was an 870 Trap model with a 30" full choke barrel with a Monte Carlo stock. IIRC most Skeet gun use a 26" barrel unless things have change over time.
  16. Got to see it on Saturday evening. I agree with your comments above. Before I was just thinking he wanted to spread the wealth in the US. No, he wants to spread the wealth with the world and bring the US to it's knees. Before, I wasn't aware of all the anti-colonialist ties. It all makes sense now. Go see the movie!
  17. The original article contains some quotes from Lance's letter. Here's the original in case anyone is interested. http://lancearmstrong.com/news-events/lance-armstongs-statement-of-august-23-2012
  18. Funny. I especially liked # 2
  19. I'm assuming the discoloration is at the face of the cylinder end and forcing cone area but please confirm. If so, this is quite normal. Cleaners like Flitz polish will get this off but I've heard it's not good to use this on a normal basis. On my SS Ruger I just clean the areas with gun cleaner and don't worry about removing the powder rings at the cylinder face.
  20. When I'm pocket carrying my LCP or 642 they are in a holster and ready to go. I don't think twice about it.
  21. Yea, that's what mine has had since the mid 80's. Seems to catch about 98% of mine. The ones that usually end up on the floor is when I go to empty the thing.
  22. I can name that tune in 2,700 revolutions.
  23. If you want to do a BOS but don't want to include a DL # there a a number of templates online that don't have that on the form. I did one like that about a month ago.
  24. Nice score for sure.
  25. Very funny. Thanks for the post.
