Very impressive. She does have quick maneuverability My next comment may be unfounded but I'm wondering how much of her success is helped by the fact that most boys will "hold back" so as not to hurt a girl? I witnessed some of this during HS wrestling matches where a team would have a girl wrestler go up against a boy. When watching the match it was obvious that the boy was not as aggressive as he would have been if the opponent was a boy. They generally would be just aggressive enough to win but not come off looking too rough. It was a tough balance to try to maintain.

New Jersey Turns Away Non-union Relief Crews
Trekbike replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
Would you expect anything different from New Jersey, the land where it is illegal to pump your own gas?
The only other state that it's illegal to pump is Oregon. Back to the thread...I agree with everyone, you spit on someone that's trying to help you and you can rot. -
I had to smile when I read this part in the description...Be careful to prepare adequately for windy conditions. What that really means is, watch out when it's windy otherwise you'll shoot the screens. I've been wondering, will most units work inside and outside or do you need different models?

I'm supposed to fly to Philly on Monday, coming back on Tuesday. Airline just called and said they cancelled my Tuesday flight out due to weather.

Can you post up some pictures so we can see the current condition?

I agree that we have evolved into a divided country. I think the difference is, in the past both parties wanted basically the same for the country, they just disagreed on the best path to get there. We now have a fundamental difference on where we're trying to go. I fully believe in the statement, together we stand, divided we fall, and we sure as crap aren't together right now. Unfortunately I think we're living in world of Atlas Shrugged except I'm still waiting for John Gault to show up.

If you are a Verizon customer you might want to check into their roadside program. It has some comparable benefits to AAA and it's $3.00 per month.

Nice pistol for sure. The wait was kind of like the build up for Christmas except I wasn't the one that got to open the present...oh well. Enjoy!

Metro Nashville amendment 3 - Sheriff
Trekbike replied to monkeylizard's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I went back and read it again and it doesn't mention that straight out about 287g, I guess you have to connect the dots. The specific section in the summary says, "...to authorize the sheriff to perform duties as may be unassigned by the charter, or currently assigned to the metropolitan chief of police, relating to the intake, processing, identification and questioning of arrestees, detainees, prisoners and other person in official custody. -
I have a Lansky and it does a good job. I let a coworker borrow it and he ended up buying one himself.

Metro Nashville amendment 3 - Sheriff
Trekbike replied to monkeylizard's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The way I interpreted it was, the amendment if approved, would allow the Sheriff's department to be able to also do some law enforcement duties that had previously been done by Metro PD. For example providing security detail assignments. Of course I could be totally wrong. -
I said this in a similar thread but anyone that has an Android phone like myself, like it or not, can't get away from Google.

I heard a news story I while back and it said the company that Google feared most was not Apple as some would guess but it was Amazon. As you know Google gets it revenue through searches. It seems people have come to expect that Amazon will likely be a good place to start a search for a product so they go directly to Amazon and search their site. No need for Google. Ha.

Inside weak side, J frame when I use that method. I use a Galco Cop Ankle Band (CAB2S) when I do ankle carry and have been satisfied. It says put and is comfortable IMO. They have some that are higher quality that have a molded section for the gun but it is more bulky IMO. On the model I have it has padded suede section up against your leg and an elastic pouch the gun slips into.

My son brought this event to my attention and since I always like a challenge I'm thinking about doing it if I can now talk him into it. I'm not much of a runner, but hey it's only 5K (3.1mi). The TN event is in Chapmansboro which is near Ashland City on 3/3/0/12. Plenty of time to get ready. The home page link is below the video and it answers pretty much all your questions. And in case you were wondering, this is not a shooting and running event. It says you can't use weapons to protect you from the undead. Oh well. Who's in? http://www.runforyourlives.com/

Yea, it's a sign that you can't really trust them to tell you the truth. You did the right thing. Don't ever under estimate the impact that stuff like that has on your kids. I had something happen recently where a gas station charged me way under what it was supposed to at the pump due to a computer error. I told the clerk, they checked it out and saw the error but still let me leave with what I had paid. I was telling my family the story at dinner that night and my 20 yr old son said that he would have been very disappointed in me if I had just left without telling them. Be sure to tell your kids the story so they can learn a valuable lesson in personal character. Believe me, they will take notice.

That sure is purdy. Do you do any folders or do you just do fixed blades?

I know the Sport doesn't have a forward assist in what people speak of today but technically it still has the original form of forward assist with the thumb cutout in the bolt.

^^^^^^ Yep. For sure. -
Nice! I've always loved the tapered under lug on those guns. I bet that thing has a super smooth trigger.

The secret santa deals I've seen in the past is a different format in that the purchaser knows who they are buying for but the recipient doesn't know who gave it to them. That's the only way it makes sense IMO.
