1.   Yep...and they make nice pretty holes.
2.   Now don't go trying to bring facts into the subject.   The truth has nothing to do with this.
3.   Too bad that wasn't pointed out in the interview.

My vote would be the M&P Shield.   It handles and shoots nicely.  Very controllable, has a decent trigger and short reset.  I much prefer it over the LC9's long trigger pull.
5. With pink furniture, can the media still call it an assault rifle?   I don't think they should, It looks far less evil to me.  :)
6. 762    That maybe an unlikely number for an AR part giveaway but that's what I'm going with since no one picked it yet.   Very nice thing to do Dolomite!   Merry Christmas!
7.   The ammo isn't stamped, the micro-stamping is done by the head of the firing pin onto the primer face.
8. I can add a little info but I had some of the same questions since my kids are scheduled to take their class at the H'ville G&L in about a week.   I talked to Amanda and found out they are having to use the B-29 target instead of the B-27.   I measured one and here's the dimensions.   B-29 Overall size is 11.5" wide x 22" tall The body torso is 9.5" wide x 14" tall The head dimension is 3" widest part x 4" tall 7 ring is 7" wide x 10.25" tall   I'm very curious about the 7 ring or better comment to count even though the shooting range is shorter. I question that it factors out to the same equivalent since on the normal B-27 you are still shooting at 3 and 7 yards and are only losing the 15 yard distance at the H'ville store.     When I did mine at GB G&L 4 years ago you only had to hit the "black" on the B-27 target which is huge in comparison.     Old target size Overall size is 23" wide 34.5" tall The body torso is 20.5" wide x 22" tall The head dimension is 7" widest point x 11" tall 7 ring 12" wide x 21.5" tall   I put the reduced size B-29 target on top of the normal target and the B-29 black part of the silhouette (including head) will fit inside the 7 ring of the normal target.    The 7 ring on the B-29 is about the same size as the 9 ring on the normal target.   I say all of that to question that the 7 ring requirement is fair.   Maybe it is but it doesn't appear that way at first glance.     I would like to know the distances that you have to shoot at the H'ville store as well.  I assume they are keeping same 70% passing requirement.
9. More gun control laws is the wrong place to be looking.
10. Yea, I can easily see that happening. Then Dad gets a call from the school to determine if all the guns are properly secured, and it's not proper for kids to be around guns, and you're a bad parent...
11. Yea, like do away with gun free zones.
12. I wanted to thank Chip for taking time out of his schedule and putting this on. It was very informative and thought provoking. I'm so glad I was able to attend.
13. I agree, can we sticky this...please?
14. I would agree with that statement.   I think shaving it was the right move even if the interviewer did have a beard.   You were the one trying to get the job and sometimes you've got to do everything you can to make it go in your favor.     As Steelharp said, you lost about 10 years which as we all get older isn't a bad thing.  I used to have a goatee for many many years and my wife wasn't happy that is was starting to get some gray and so I shaved it off for her about 6 years ago.   I never grew it back (so far) and glad now it's gone.  I have told my wife if I ever start going bald that I'm going to shave my head and grow it back.   :)   Congrats and good luck.
15.
Pretty amazing how this thing is taking off after being around so long as the Whisper.
The Blackout name is tacticool, Whisper is what you do in a library.

19.
No such thing as an honest politician. IMO
I do think some have started out as honest, but soon become mired down in the muck and start stinking just like the rest. In general, I can't disagree with the article.

21. Also, the guy at the grinding wheel isn't wearing eye protection, which doesn't surprise me in the least.

Thanks for the link.
23. Based on the time, is the plan to have the meeting and then whoever wants can stay and eat dinner?
24. At around 3:12 Costas stated, "roughly 40% of the guns purchased in this country don't require a background check". Is he referring to private sales or what? Can anyone shed any light on if this is a true statement?
25. Got home yesterday to find an unexpected Christmas card from a LGS. I haven't gotten one in the past so I'm not sure if this is a new thing for them to send out or if I'm now on the frequent flyer list. Anyway, it make me smile either way.
