Yep. Maybe Jesse is planning on bidding since he's the master of the pimp.

If I'm reading between the lines correctly it sounds like you aren't adjusting the decapping pin separately from the die. Mark A mentioned this earlier. Basically you need to set the die base against the shell holder with the right amount of cam over. THEN screw the decapping pin in or out just enough to pop the primer out. These are two separate adjustments. Not saying that RCBS can't mess up but they are better quality than my Lee dies.

Is there a reason for me to get a M&P Shield if...
Trekbike replied to maroonandwhite's topic in Handguns
Based on you just wanting to buy one gun, let me throw out another less expensive option than buying a FS and using the compact for EDC. Get the X-Grip mag extensions for the compact, which turns it into the FS capacity and use it for your house gun. Buy the Shield for your EDC. If you find yourself wanting a little more capacity than the Shield at times, use the compact with the normal compact mags. -

I'll take a stab. Two family member have the Shield, one in 9 and one in 40. If you already have the Compact and are comfortable with it, I probably wouldn't get the Shield unless funds aren't an issue. If money isn't a problem then I would say sure get the Shield. The Shield is thinner and shorter in length but not by a large amount. I think the height is about the same with the extended mag on the Shield. The Shield is not really a pocket gun for me unless I've got on cargo shorts for example. Both calibers in the Shield are fine shooters and handle well for a small carry gun. Regarding your grip question, you can't really compare it in size to the full size due to the width. -
I say more like kid abuse. Surely he didn't let her shoot it in that stance. If he did, he needs a smack up side the head.

New one on me. Sounds like an excuse for them to keep everyone's brass for themselves. I would ask them what special procedures/equipment do they use to sweep up the brass? Are they using a respirator, etc.? Did they say anything about just picking it up with your hands?

WOW says it. Like Red said, no butt chewing here either since I haven't heard of that either. For clarification, did the static discharge flash the powder or set off the primer? Also, since the case didn't have a bullet to build any pressure why so much damage?

Thanks guys. That took care of the problem.

For some reason now with my laptop, when I go to post, the editing toolbar shows but nothing on it is active. I can still see the toolbar and all the buttons but everything is "grayed out" with a light blue color. When I log onto another computer it shows up fine so I knows it's a problem with my laptop but I can't figure out a way to correct. Does anyone know how to correct the problem?

I never was a coffee drinker but I used to get my caffeine via a soft drink in the morning. Anytime I missed drinking one I would have a headache most of the day. Didn't like that so I gave up all drinks with caffeine about about 8 years ago. You get used to it after a while.

Why all the hate? How is it any different than a vertical foregrip on an AR (beside the obvious fact that it's wood)?

If the kids really want to wear them, do just the opposite. Tell them they get to wear them until they lose.

Now don't go bring up facts...that doesn't fit the agenda. Be a good serf and comply.

Speaking of zombies, do you think a large version of this would work on zombies? What would you need to put on the cylinder to bait them? I'm guessing it would work until the bucket filled up and then they'd be crawling back out again. So how are we going to empty the bucket to keep it going?

Cool...I hear those are good for a leisurely stroll around downtown.

All you Tavor owners, I heard a rumor......

I'm speculating that it's demand for a short OAL rifle without tax stamp, and without loss of barrel length. Yea, but other than that what's it got? :) -
Okay. I'm confused on where the need for a second gun comes into play in the dream. On the same subject, on several specific times over the last year due to threats of riots, I've been prepared to do the same.

I'm not tank savvy so this might be a stupid question. Is that long green colored piece attached to the right side of the turret a towing strap?

My EDC is off to the hospital...

Another fan of the Volt 2 and Kershaw in general since they are a great value IMO. That earlier posting of the 1920 Select Fire looks pretty cool and handy. -
Nice! On the CORE, is the back strap heavily textured like it appears to be? What besides the sights on the gun are different than a regular M&P?

Survival Store/Training in Nashville - Could it work?

Speaking of REI, why do you guys think there is only one location in the state? Is it their prices, lack of potential customers in other areas of the state, what? I would think a store in east TN would do well but maybe not otherwise they would likely put one there. -
The Lansky kit has four angle choices. This is what their manual says about the angles. YMMV. 17 deg - A severe angle only recommend for razor blades, X-Acto blades or similar tools. Provides an extremely sharp but highly delicate edge. 20 deg - A commonly used angle for higher grade, quality blades. Provides an excellent edge for these types of knives. Ideal for kitchen knives. 25 deg - The recommended angle for most knives that need a durable, sharp edge. Ideal for hunting and outdoor knives. 30 deg - An outstanding angle for knives that see the heavy use of cutting cardboard, wire or carpets. Only for heavy duty use.

I have a Lansky kit and I'm satisfied since I just need to maintain an edge and not create one. It is similar in principal to the Smith kit shown above.

I'm still hoping the truth to Benghazi finally gets answered, and if her hands are dirty, she pays the price and exits politics forever...of course I still believe in the Easter Bunny so I'll probably be waiting awhile for that to happen. -
Looking for sub-compact recommendations
