  1. Lowe's doesn't seem to work that way in my case. I had Lowe's do some carpet several years ago. The installers damaged a folding closet door when they put it back up but we didn't notice it until after they left. We contacted Lowe's, they talked to the installer, which said they didn't do the damage. Lowe's handled it and paid a different installer to replace the door.
  2. I'm guessing you've never read Tom Sawyer...This sounds suspiciously like the whitewashing fence story.   :)
  3. I agree. I'm in the first part of the second book and would have no background and understanding if I hadn't read the first book before starting this one.
  4. Nice looking pup. That picture makes him look like he's got a white chin beard. :)
  5. Have you looked at Side Guard Holsters?  I bought the "Slide" model for a J Frame about 4-5 years ago and was pleased.    The finish work at the time wasn't quiet as nice as say my DM Bullard but it's good quality IMO.  I believe the owner's name is Eric, and if you don't see what you'd like to have, let him know since he does a lot of custom stuff.    http://sideguardholsters.com/holsters/CrossGuard.htm
  6. What price range you wanting to spend or wanting to drive?
  7. 5700 Charlotte Pike is not the best part of town but I guess it depends on what you're needing to do around there. I wouldn't spend the night in the area if it was me. The good news is the West Police Precinct is at 5500 Charlotte Pike so if you have trouble it won't take the police as long to get there. The precinct used to be further west from downtown but I guess they needed to be closer to the action. The further west you go the better it gets.
  8. Well...I'm not sure, but I think he's upset.   As others have said, why did he take delivery?
  9. Here's two additional sources.   Grainger and McMaster-Carr.  Both have several selections depending on the exact bit type and coating you are looking for.   http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/search.shtml?searchQuery=%2333+drill+bits&op=search&Ntt=%2333+drill+bits&N=0&GlobalSearch=true&sst=subset   http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-drill-bits/=p3umk4
  10. Based on the updated news that these are the M2's instead of the new M4's that started the thread by Tanker, I'd like to withdraw my order if possible.
  11. If there was a group buy, I'd be up for a dozen.
  12. Thanks for the link. Cool site I haven't seen. On the the same subject, I'm a fan of the small UCO lanterns that have the 9 hr candles.
  13. For what it's worth since I haven't read the article yet, American Rifleman Nov issue has an article on building an AR.
  14. Sometimes I think you guys are 50% retarded...
  15. I meant to say this last week but thanks for the heads up Chucktshoes.   I'm about half way through the first book and just snagged the second.
  16. I don't have experience with that one, but it appears to be a good option for the money. I agree, the quick adjuster arm is a nice feature. I'd give it a try if I was in the market for one. Have you checked locally to see if you can handle one in person?
  17.   While you're at it go ahead and make one of the Giraud annealing machines you've been wanting.   :)
  18. Not true as long as you have a dialysis machine sitting around.
  19.   I'm just the opposite, I was looking forward to having the grooves.   I think it increases the good looks of a billet piece.
  20. One thing I've been hoping for was that the lower was going to come with CMT's cool looking three "grooves" on the front of the mag well.   It appears based on the pictures that we're going to get a non-groove look.    Does anyone know for sure?
  21. Turn it into a SHTF bunker. :)

    How do i

Sounds like you are adding your text inside the brackets rather than after it.   Space down a line or two after the last bracket of the quote and then add your text.
  23. Thanks for the translation. :)
  24. I'd agree, but I'm not following how that pertains to the topic.
  25. Sorry to hear about your loss Robert.   Dogs are a true gift from God.
