1. In the Nashville area and would possibly be interested depending on the details.
2. Is it not within Walmart's power to not allow those guys to use your merchandise to "camp out". It should be a, you use it you buy it policy.
3.
well, I just dropped off my receiver at ups to go to Orion Arms for engraving!
What kind of engraving are you having done?

Yep.  He was just kidding.     Good luck with your new purchase.
6. If you stay with regular dry media route, I've had good luck out of my Lyman Pro 1200.
7. I don't have an invoice handy but doesn't Midway also include insurance on the shipment? UPS covers $100 as their normal coverage, if you want more than that then you pay extra?   I know most of my orders are more than that because I collect a wish list if I can wait for the stuff.  I then wait until they are offering a discount when you buy X amount of dollars of stuff so for me Midway usually ends up the lowest.  YMMV.   I did quite a bit of shopping for my recent TGO build and I was on a bunch of sites trying to bundle as much stuff together taking into account shipping charges.   At the end of the day Midway, at least on the stuff I was buying, came out several times the cheapest option including shipping because they had the highest quantity of items available without having to go to multiple sites and pay multiple shipping charges.      As others have said anything classified as a chemical gets extra charges so I try to limit those types of purchases unless I can't find it elsewhere.   For me, Midway or Brownells still get the bulk of my business.
8. Yea, that kinda happens when about half the folks in this country don't pay federal income taxes.
9.   Dane is correct unless you were born before 1/1/69.  After that, then you must take the Hunter Safety Course.    Not saying it's not a smart thing to still take if you are new to hunting but old enough that you're exempted.
10. Another pro for the M&P is the better ergonomics IMO.      Not sure if this matters to you but If you are going to shoot and reload 40 S&W, the M&P has more shoulder support for case so you don't get the "Glock bulge" on your brass.     Some say the Glock has a better out of the box trigger.
11. It might be worth checking your local library, that's were I read mine. I'm on my phone right now so I can't see your location so that might not be an option.
12. Regarding the barrel, I was back and forth between several manufacturers and decided to go with a Daniel Defense.  The more I read about CHF barrels the more I wanted one.   I did decide to go with their 18" heavy profile barrel (S2W) mid length gas that is salt bath nitrided (basically Melonite) over the 16" since I've already got that length covered.     I went Yankee Hill on my low profile gas block and their new SLR handguard FF system with the smooth profile type on three sides. It's a rifle length to fully cover the gas block.  At some point in the future I might look at a low profile adjustable gas block.     Very pleased with the results at this point.
13. Dustbuster, I'm with Daniel, what was wrong with his rifle? Luttrell carried a MK 12 according to his accounts, and while I never got a close look due to the action, it appeared to resemble a MK 12.
14. Yep. My commute puts 17,500 miles per year on my car just to get back and forth to work.
15. Do your light weight shorts have front pockets? If not, can you switch to light weight cargo type shorts so you can fit a pocket gun like an LCP?
16. Too bad her mother didn't subscribe to the same belief and stayed a virgin...
17. Can't help you with that but Consumer Reports said the 07 model year had the worst reliability. It was a redesign year. Not sure which year you are looking at.
18. Having a serrated is nice except when it's time to sharpen. I've got a special stone for serrated blades for my Lansky kit but never have liked my results. I usually end up using a very small precision round file set I've got to touch it up. My current EDC for the last several years has been a plain blade.
19. I agree, sounds like a plan to take the focus of him, we relax, and then get flanked.
20. You must not be paying attention. They told you to turn of your cell phone. :)
21.
Btw, I had saved links, checked today, not showing as free. A different general search for his stuff shows that Amazon Prime members can "borrow" it for free. - OS
I was able to find out the titles and saw the same thing when I went on Amazon, OS. Not sure if I'm going to use up my free monthly Prime borrow book on it or not.
22. Yesterday while browsing around I came across a thread where an author had posted that he was going to put up two of his books for free download from amazon starting today for two days on each book in an effort to promote his books.   I've gone back and can't find the thread anymore since I don't remember the titles and was wondering if the thread was deleted.     That might have been the case if it was viewed as "selling" without being an authorized vendor.   But since the books were going to be free for a certain time period, does that still qualify as "selling".    Or it may be a case of I'm just overlooking the thread and it's still out there.   If anyone has any knowledge on the matter please enlighten me.
23. I would suggest reading the book before seeing the movie. Just got back from seeing it with my son since the theater near me started showing it tonight at 8:00. It's a must see and it did a decent job of sticking to the storyline of the book for the most part.
24.   If it's a UPS tracking number it should indicate on the website info if multiple boxes are on the same shipment.
25.
My gas heat was blowin all night last night and when i went down stairs, the thermostat was reading 56 and was set at 63. Got so cold the gas could not keep up.
Something doesn't sound right about your gas furnace not being able to keep up at 63. Mine cycles set on 68-69 even as cold as it has been.
