  1. In the article the author said that in 1989 a Python was $300. He didn't state whether that was new or used unless I missed it. I don't have specific info but that sounds too low based on my memory. Anybody remember what they sold for in the time period?
  2. Glock 42.    If you're wanting something smaller I'd go for the LCP.
  3. Or you could bring it to my house and I'll put it down since my yard is pretty much a weed patch. :)
  4. Online TurboTax for me.
  5. I just read on the Internet that the BATFE is now adding 550 paracord in with the M855 ban... something about people making ammo dump pouches that can potentially hold the banned rounds. Better run out and stock up on the 550 before it's too late.
  6.   I think Steelharp's question below answers your quesiton...   :)
  7. I kinda like it, but then again I drive a Volvo 850. (They don't call them bricks for nothing.)
  8. Cool. Did you take the photo?
  9.   You're thinking in the "old 22LR days" terms.   In today's terms, based on the availability of ammo, that should put you out a couple of years so that doesn't seem so bad.    :)
  10. Dang. Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk
  11. Over the years I've switched to Michelin's exclusively on all of my vehicles and have been very satisfied. Recently put a second set of their LTX M/S on an Explorer.
  12. It gets old when I keep hearing about the latest "misstatement" in the news by someone.     Yet again, we have another one.   "VA secretary apologizes for misstating military record" Sounds like a lie to me...I know we live in a world that has developed euphemisms for just about everything, but this one bothers me more than most.      Rant off...
  13. The purchase was for 45 ACP, not 22LR. It's hard to make it out in the photo. So yes, for 45 it was a decent factory round purchase.
  14. I hope you get sand in your shorts. :)
  15. Regarding the proximity to the the houses, does anyone know how close the houses are at Charlie Hafner's range (old Owl Hollow)? I seem to recall houses relatively near the range. (Not counting Charlie's house on top of the hill.)
  16.   I did get the response below today that sounds encouraging.   I think it's getting closer, so maybe by summer.   :)   We are still planning to offer them but we are waiting on the actual frames to arrive still. That means it could still be several months before they are ready. Check back with us. Hope you have a great weekend : )
  17.   Yep.   It was stuck in 4x4 low.   They said the transfer motor that switches into/out of the low range is getting weak, plus due to the cold weather it was stuck.   We chose not to replace the motor since there's not much reason to need to go into the low range.   (4x4 high is fine to use.)  Another reason for the decision was the high number of miles on the vehicle (225K).      The charge for work was $86 so we are happy about that!    As I mentioned, they did very quick work.     So in summary, I started the post asking for any feedback on Ewing Bass and I'm glad to say that I had a very pleasant and hassle free experience.   I will definitely consider them in the future for other repairs.
  18. Yep they have some neat designs. I think their prices are very reasonable IMO.
  19.   My son hopes so too!    We'll see how the rest of the experience goes but so far I've been impressed.    The two times I've called the shop the owner answered and he was very nice over the phone.     As I mentioned I dropped the car last night after hours.    They open at 7:30 and I called at 7:50 just to give them some more feedback on how it was driving so they would have a better idea when they got to it.   To my surprise the mechanic had already driven the car and told the owner he had a pretty good idea what was wrong,   Hopefully it's just stuck in 4x4 low.  :)
  20.   Nice build!  Glad to hear you're using the Sig Brace just how the government says you can use it.   :)
  21. Hey other ZT350 owners, I've been wanting to get some custom scales for my 350 for a while now.  I really like the scales that VZ Grips are doing for some of the ZT knives.   See the link below.   The problem is right now they are only offering them for the 300's & 560's.   I started emailing them back in August of last year and they told me that they do plan to offer scales for more models in the future but didn't have a time table.     IF you are interested in getting some as well for your 350, shoot them an email asking.   I'm hoping if others show an interest maybe that will help speed them up!       https://vzgrips.com/knives/zt-scales
  22. Thanks for all the replies guys. I ended up dropping his car off last night at Ewing Bass to give them a chance. In the OP I described the perceived problem based on my son's description. After driving it myself last night, to me it appears that it is "stuck" in 4x4 low based on the way it drives.
  23. Maybe they haven't aledgedly sold any short barrel shotguns to a ATF Informant yet...
