Yep I agree with the distance being too close. I had a similar issue on some pistol rounds and once I moved back some, everything settled down with the velocity.

Man...that is amazing! I bet that was a special meal for sure. My family spent our family vacations at Seagrove Beach for about 10 years or so when the kids were going up. We go back from time to time and still really enjoy the area. Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk

So why aren't they blaming the plane?
Trekbike replied to Trekbike's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
You are correct, it doesn't. I was making an observation on the illogical nature of the anti's logic. -
Regarding the recent tragic events of the co-pilot that purposely flew the plane into the mountain killing 150 people, I got to thinking about something. It has been reported that the co-pilot possibly had some mental issues which may or may not be true as more facts come out. Either way he murdered those people. Had the guy used a gun to mass murder those same people, all the anti-gun folks would be whipped into a frenzy pushing their gun control agenda. So in this case why isn't the plane being targeted as the problem? Yes, I know the real answer but using their same logic, the plane must be the problem.

Thanks for posting. Yes, we need more young people like him rather than those consumed with taking selfies and tweeting what they had for lunch...

Maybe that was part of his master plan... :)

Bicycle mechanics/riders I have a technical question
Trekbike replied to tercel89's topic in General Chat
Regarding the removal of the clipless pedals, you might not be aware of this style which allows you to have the best of both worlds. Regular pedals when you want them, and clipless SPD's on the other side. I have them on my "dink around/greenway bike", a Giant Roam 2 and like them. http://www.jensonusa.com/!aA09ZwheTaPEaXM5HxwobA!/Shimano-PD-A530-Pedals -
At one time mine was named John Galt. My Dad was at my house and was looking at the available networks on his phone and asked, "who is John Galt" not knowing the significance of the question. My wife and I busted out laughing.

Thanks. No special tag, we're just trying to legally pay as little to the government as possible. :)

Bicycle mechanics/riders I have a technical question

I agree with Lumber. I'd try the adapter with with the right angle stem before buying an extension. I added a Ritchey Comp 30 deg stem, 90 mm length several years ago and it made a big difference IMO. So in my case I raised the angle and put a shorter length on to get a more upright ride. That particular stem came in a 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120 mm length. -
I reviewed information on the DMV and County Clerk websites and I'm uncertain as to the answer so I wanted to run my situation by you guys that might know for sure. Facts; About 4 years ago I transferred the title of one of my vehicles to my adult son using the "Relative Transfer" process. He will now be transferring the vehicle back to me again using the "Relative Transfer" process. My son is buying a used vehicle from a dealer. Questions: On the vehicle being transferred back to me, can the car license/registration remain with the vehicle and be transferred to me? (I'm thinking no but please confirm.) Assuming no on my first question, I believe my son can transfer his current license plate/registration to the vehicle he will be purchasing, correct? (I'm thinking yes but please confirm.)

Of those two I would go with the M&P. I think you might get tired of carrying the FS all the time so if you aren't limited in funding, I'd also pick up a Shield.

If I understand correctly this is the bike that you used to ride years ago, correct? If so, were you riding with the saddle in its current location as shown in the photo? If so, that frame size may be too large for you since that's not normal to have to run the saddle that low. Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk -
Just a guess, but is the extra weight of the loaded gun vs. dry firing enough to cause you to expend your limited strength on holding the gun up and there's not enough strength left to pull the trigger? Does the same thing still happen when shooting from a rest? Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk

If this is something you end up doing make sure you determine how major house repairs would be handled. Say kid 1 and then kid 2 live in the house for 3 years each and no major repairs are needed. Kid 3 moves in and the AC unit goes out and needs to be replaced. Kid 3 is the one that gets unfairly stuck with the bill unless you work out a plan on how to share the repair bill.

Cool picture. My family spent several days exploring and hiking Sedona on our trip to AZ last March. It was our favorite area by far during our trip. Even above the Grand Canyon in many ways. We can't wait to go back.

Is it a mil-spec trigger or a Ruger design?

I think it turned out great! I like the blade shape and the scales look really good.

You guys are overlooking the reason for the true value of gun, it comes with a PTG Bomber Girl sticker. Wake up and pay attention... Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk

Cool. I remember when you could buy firearms at ACE. In fact, that was where my first pistol was purchased.
