From what I remember the guy at work said you get the best results from fresh, not frozen, and it will take some period of time for it to start helping. I'll ask him tomorrow to get you a better idea on the time. He also said the next morning the okra is slimy/snotty looking when you pick it out so he said he looks away when doing it. LOL. I think he said the water is not real tasty so he drinks it quickly. Good luck.

Have any of you guys looked into using okra to help control your diabetes? I don't have diabetes but I was talking to a guy at work that does. (Just meds, no insulin injections.) He heard about drinking water that had okra soaking in it overnight. He talked to his doctor and while he didn't think it would help, he said it wouldn't hurt either. The doctor made him a bet. If his levels improved significantly when checked during his office visits he would buy him a years worth of okra. In summary, my co-worker's levels improved so much that he was able to come off one of his meds entirely and was able to cut back on the other med. (This was over the course of several months.) The doctor mailed him a check to make good on his bet. Below is one link. Do your own research, YMMV. http://www.snopes.com/medical/homecure/okra.asp

Welcome. What's your job situation? I assume you aren't tied to a certain city since you didn't mention it. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I've heard that a person can get some pretty good real estate deals in Greece right now. ;) Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk -

My daughter's condo was broken into sometime yesterday. One of the things they took was her pistol. Normally she has it with her but didn't yesterday. A police report has already been filed and the S# is recorded as stolen. This is my first experience to have to deal with the matter so I have several questions I was hoping run past you guys. I'm assuming the S# goes into a national database that can be accessed by all FFL's rather than just a local/state database, correct? The police told her they put the info out to pawn shops, etc. but I'm assuming people aren't stupid enough to sell it to a shop that can check it for being stolen so I'm guessing it would be sold on a FTF basis. I'm also guessing it wouldn't go up on a site like Gun Broker since those typically get shipped to an FFL for transfer. With that said, what local sites should I be watching to see if it pops up? (TGO is really the only classified site I visit.) Is watching for it myself a waste of time since someone is more likely to go the route of selling it on the street to whoever in a, "hey buddy you want to buy a gun"? Thanks in advance for your help.

Just in case you aren't familiar, there are two G&L locations. One is in Hendersonville, and the better of the two stores IMO, is in Greenbrier. Metalhead is at the Greenbrier location. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Since you will be staying in Brentwood, it might be worth a drive to a new shop that just opened out in Bellevue called Regal Range. It used to be a movie theather until the flood of 2010. Not many folks know about it yet. They are still working on the ranges but the shop is fully stocked. Quite the selection IMO. The range will be 60 yards indoors when finished and at least some sections will be rated up to 50 cal, or so I'm told, if you need to do some test firing. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Since you might be limited on time, what section/area of Nashville is the conference?

I believe that would be what they call a conflict of interest... :)

You guys are missing the capitalistic part of this that's great. Someone is making cowboy boots using less leather materials and probably charging twice the price of normal cowboy boots while grinning from ear to ear and thinking to themselves, "what idiots". :)

Pretty cool project you got going there! Keep the pictures coming. I had to grin when I saw the rear leaf spring brackets. That's the same one's we used on our cars to jack up the rear end back in the late 70's / early 80's. Add that to the Cherry Bomb mufflers and that brings back fond memories... :)

Here a link from a powder thread he posted back in Jan for reference so kept that in mind when checking his prices. He generally puts these types posts in the TGO Vender Sale Postings section. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/85415-powder/

That would be David Mosley that goes by the TGO screen name of dlm37015. He can usually beat most folks prices on stuff and is a heck of a nice guy to deal with. He usually also has military powder if you're looking for that. I always get my WC844 through him. Deal with David and you won't regret it.

I haven't been there in a couple of years but I assume Reloaders Bench in Mt. Juliet is still open if he hasn't been there. At the time, some of their prices were okay but some were too high IMO. I've been getting most of my stuff from David now. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Any chance those are guards training and not prisoners? If they are prisoners, why would they allow them to train like that? I guess the prison also holds training classes for the inmates to improve their "breaking and entering skills" for those burglars that need to brush up on their techniques and lock picking skills... :)

I'm not a LEO, but you did tell the officer about what you saw and to me your responsibility ends there. Based on your description of the wreck, I'm guessing it wasn't a contributing factor in the wreck.

Actually we live in a land where men think they're women and people say, "you are who you think you are, you are so brave, here's your courage award"...
