  3. I wonder if that's where Caster got his start by using #7 Kaster Kit Jr, lead casting kit? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  4. Congrats! So what will a typical day involve? Sent from my KFTT using Tapatalk
  5. The weight didn't seem unnatural to me since the gun is so compact. My suggestion, if you haven't already upgraded the trigger, spend the money on that first before looking at more optics. Your group sizes will thank you. The best optics won't overcome the crappy factory trigger on the Tavor IMO.
  6. I don't own a Tavor but my brother does. He has an Eotech with a flip to the side magnifer and it fits the style and design of the rifle well IMO. One can argue if it needs a magnifer. A scope on a Tavor just looks out of place to me. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Since I try to learn something new each day, please comment on the purpose of the machined "rings" rather than a straight metal removal.
  8. Like Big K, I don't have that specific model but have the AR Optics 1-4x24 model and am happy. Decent quality for the money IMO. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

  10. I rented a 4x4 version of one for a week in Arizona on vacation a couple of years ago. I was not a fan of the vehicle after spending quite a number of miles behind the wheel. Rode too rough, very unresponsive/loose feeling while driving, got crappy mileage, forget getting in and out easily of the back seats. (If you don't believe me have the vehicle parked in a space next to another car and try to get in or out of the back. Not easy to do unless you are a small child. This might not be an issue if you don't haul anyone in the back seat.) Before anyone says, "it's an SUV, it's not supposed to drive like a car", I put over 100k (still have it, currently has about 250k) on a '99 Explorer 4x4 Eddie Bauer and like it better than the Xterra. YMMV.
  11.   Honestly the styling of the current models don't appeal to me that much but I like them better than the 4th Generation models (2002-2009).    I'm kinda old school and actually like the styling on the 3rd Generations the best of all of them.
  12. I'd check out the Explorer if you want US. If import, I'd look at the 4 Runner.
  13. It looks like my edit was posted right after you quoted my post so we had similar thoughts regarding Jeep reliability compared to Chrysler. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  14. Yea, letting you drive it home is one of the best sales tools they have to use on anyone they think are on the fence about buying. Regarding reliability, I swore off Chrysler products several years ago after some bad experiences with transmissions and internal engine issues. In past years many of their models have had transmission issues so be sure to do your homework on their current reliability. Good luck whatever you end up doing. Edit. My reliability comments were more directed towards Chrysler than Jeep so they might not apply in this case. I do seem to recall that Cherokee's have had their share of problems too. 15.   Exactly what I was thinking too on the last part.    They don't call it Sho-nasty for nothing.
  16. Using that logic, I guess he thinks the value of his new car is worth more after he puts about 3,000 "break in" miles on the car...
  17.   Well, then that's a valid reason, carry on!
  18.   BLASPHEMY!     I love blackberries so this post makes me sad.
  19.   I think we've had a failure to communicate.    To clarify, I think I misunderstood your position, but not sure.    I see and can understand why it would cause all kinds of inventory confusion for a solider to carry a personally owned weapon.     I thought you were saying it was a bad idea for them to be able to carry their "own" issued military weapon.  So I'm not sure if you are against that or not so please clarify.
  20. I'm not ex-military and don't understand the inner workings of a base so my question is meant to better understand the issues with allowing this. Why is that a bad idea? Are you speaking in terms of carrying their rifle, sidearm, or both?
  21. I know how to save even more money...don't stop at a gun shop. [emoji3] Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  22. If this truely came from the evaporator coils then this can't come from grass debris. Condenser coils which reject heat to the outside can get that type of debris but not the evaporator coils which are sealed to the conditioned area. So that we are all on the same terminology page, TDR please confirm if this came from the evaporator or condenser coils.
  23. Does yours eject the brass into the next county like my sons does?
  24.   From what I remember the guy at work said you get the best results from fresh, not frozen, and it will take some period of time for it to start helping.   I'll ask him tomorrow to get you a better idea on the time.       He also said the next morning the okra is slimy/snotty looking when you pick it out so he said he looks away when doing it.  LOL.   I think he said the water is not real tasty so he drinks it quickly.    Good luck.
  25. What, not enough BBQ joints for your liking? [emoji3] Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
