  1. How old is the gas? Did it have a stabilizer in it at the time of storage? If you are mainly worried about the ethanol and not really the age, you can get additives to "neutralize" the ethanol.
  2. So which model did he have stuffed in there? You should have told him that if he was going to carry by just stuffing it in his pants he should choose appendix carry so that he could gain more street cred.
  3. Welcome and thanks for the forum support by being a vendor. I've really enjoyed the times I've been to your facility either visiting the shop or the range on the IDPA nights. You have a great facility and staff! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. So is the takeaway from this story, wear a Carhart jacket or don't use Gold Dot 9's?
  5. Mine is currently a ZT 0566. It used to be the ZT 0350. Prior to that it was a Kershaw Volt II and further back it was a Gerber something. I've progressively gotten into more expensive knives as time goes on but still have not given into the TGO Protech offerings. Came real close on the Magic run.
  6. Is it typical that the officers in other departments have to buy their own weapons? I just assumed it would be provided.
  7. Not saying that might not be true, but how did they come to that conclusion unless it was just meant as trash talking?
  8. Tell that heathen congrats and keep it up! I know you're a proud dad for sure.
  9. Might want to check out Cummins Falls too.
  10. Did you carry? If so, did you have any issues?
  11. So then I'm guessing he wouldn't be coming to the event floor otherwise they would have to call the whole thing off limits to carrying.
  12. I was looking at the carry policy at the 2016 NRA Convention and not sure what to make out of the language in the second paragraph. The way I'm reading it, the (KEC), in which the main event floor is being held, isn't mentioned in the alcohol sales language so I'm assuming they don't offer it for sale so there shouldn't be an issue with carrying. Is that how you take it?
  13. To further reinforce your comment, anyone that tries to glean any legitimate information from a meme might need to loosen the fit of their tin foil hat...
  14. Fair enough, I'll stop my whining now. Didn't realize it was that difficult to interface with. Thanks for all your efforts and hard work with the forum. Same goes for the Mods!
  15. Okay, now that I know I was indeed viewing in the mobile version, I'm definitely going to have to disagree in the differences. With TT I get a tab selection to allow me to view: Trending, Subforums, Timeline (most recent posts), Unread, Subscribed, and my favorite, Participated. In the various sections I get a preview of the last viewed post in all the threads, and if there are any pictures in the OP, it shows that too in the preview. I also like their notification feature that tells me the specific notification and which forum it came from with a swipe. Also, on my TT home page I can quickly switch between various forums with one touch. And as you mentioned, the ability to embed pics directly off the phone. So in all I've found TT very useful for me. YMMV.
  16. Just for clarification, when I'm on a mobile device and viewing the site, am I automatically using the IPB mobile version or do I have to set it up to view in that mode? If I have to set it up, what are the steps because I poked around and didn't see anything?
  17. Okay, I'm still having major TT withdrawal. Unless you guys are using a different mobile version than me, I'm not seeing anyway someone can say it's better than TT. Maybe you were using a very old TT version because the current version gives you a ton of viewing and navigation options that the mobile version doesn't seem to offer.
  18. Whatever you do don't shoulder it...
  19. We've used Faithful Friends a couple of times and have been pleased (that doesn't sound quite right under the circumstances). http://www.faithfulfriendsnashville.com/
  20. PLEASE bring back TT. Still prefer TT over the mobile IMO.
  21. You forgot duct tape. :)
  22. Decided to subscribe to this thread since it's likely to turn lively.
  23. If you go that route you can always bury it later for your SHTF shelter. :) Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  24. Sounds like maybe it was a Yugo and they cut off the grenade launcher. When he says "not cycling", does it even attempt to cycle and just doesn't have enough gas, or does it act like a Yugo switched over into the grenade mode which is a single shot? Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
  25.   His original post said about 40 miles when he had the problem but that's maybe not what you wanted to know.
