  1. Nice! What's the pattern spread look like with buckshot at typical shotgun distances?
  2. I'm guessing they wanted to get the interview over ASAP so they could get back to covering anything related to Trump.
  3. Not sure how far from Williamsburg you're willing to travel but you'll be about 2 hrs from Thomas Jefferson's home, Monticello, which is in Charlottesville, VA. Guaranteed to not be overrun with liberals since most of them want to erase him from our country's history in anyway they can.
  4. I would definingly agree that to be the truth for the DIY'ers. On the other hand, I'm guessing the commercial service industry has taken a big hit in revenue because of it. There's been some repair/remodeling projects come up in the past that I've never done before and somewhat hesitant to tackle on my own until I've watched some videos. I usually come away with saying, "I can do that", assuming I have the proper tools. If not, buying the tools myself is still usually cheaper than paying someone else. .
  5. Since this is already a little off topic, I use a Gum Creek mount to solve the problem you referenced. Explanation in the video link if you're not familiar. If you're interested they have 10% sale and free shipping, but it ends today. https://youtu.be/xpTpcFGWBJc
  6. I guess I'm too late to the party. I'm assuming not seeing the original post/image is a good thing...
  7. You know, it's one of them that the person you're aiming it at, stares into the end of the barrel before it goes bang...
  8. Since the Shield is already a decent pistol especially for the price, I tend to agree with other on spending your money on ammo and practice time for the most part. There is one mod I added to mine that I really like and it was the Samson mag well for the extended mags. I posted about it here. As mentioned, as long as you plan to use the extended mags, I think it's worthwhile in my opinion. If you plan to run the flush mag sometimes, disregard. https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/109509-mp-shield-magwell-samson-mfg/?tab=comments#comment-1516368
  9. @gfd_703You mean like this one that's in Nashville no less? https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/110768-wilson-combat-edc-x9-railed-ambi-grayblack/
  10. Just curious, your comment led me to think you don't subscribe to the "Young Earth" theory, correct?
  11. So sorry to hear this update. I'll continue to keep you and your family in my prayers.
  12. Just as additional heads up for folks regarding passport renewals, some countries won't accept passports that are due to expire within 6 months from your last travel date.
  13. SGAmmo fan as well. Decent prices on the stuff I need, and quick shipments.
  14. I've been with Farm Bureau for quite a while since their rates have been reasonable at least in my case. Throughout the years, low drama on the claims I've had for both auto and homeowners. They've always worked things out to my satisfaction.
  15. We use Vipre at work and it's always done a good job and doesn't have all the "bloat" like some programs.
  16. It may just be me but it seems all of Ruger's pistols over the last couple of years are a tad on the homely side. Not Hi Point ugly by any means, just not appealing to me. Yes, I know that looks shouldn't be a real factor in choosing a quality pistol, but most people do allow looks to play a bigger factor than we probably should.
  17. Since they seem to be pushing the "rebuild" option, does that mean that replacing the slide for fee, if defective, is no longer a possibility?
  18. While it's a shame that the consumers have lost the cost of the stock, that's a drop in the bucket to what the owner(s) of the company have lost. All that time, effort, and money now down the toilet for a law change that won't make a real difference in solving the problem. I'm guessing the gov will take the stance of using this as an "add on charge" if it's discovered, rather than the door knock method based on sales records, if they're smart...
  19. Yes. Lewis, who survived the shooting, was charged in Douglas County with battery on a law enforcement officer, interference with a law enforcement officer, no proof of insurance and driving without a seat belt.
  20. Welcome. That's quite the cultural shock to say the least. Sorry to be of no help on your hunting question.
  21. Okay, I may be the only one that had this thought, but when I saw the thread title, I thought the discussion was going to be on identifying different model years of the Ford Raptor...
  22. @hipower I think I linked the correct ones. If not, let me know and I'll correct. https://www.classicfirearms.com/century-tp9-sfx-20-rnd-hg3774g-n/ https://www.classicfirearms.com/tp9-sf-sa-black-9mm-18rd-hg4070-n/ https://www.classicfirearms.com/cia-hg3898ncanik-tp9sf-elite-black/
  23. Anybody know who all was in the running? I'm assuming it was a short list.
  24. Nice truck, but you never told the story of how something like that happens...
  25. For clarification when you so no fees, do you mean no membership fee, or no fee to use the range? If it's the later, you're going to be out of luck unless you find a friend with a private range. Below is a link to help get you started for the state run ranges. https://www.tn.gov/twra/hunting/firing-ranges.html
