  1. Sunset Grill, Midtown Cafe and Cabana Never been to any of them and never will.
  2. I don't agree with a boycott on an owner that sides with us on the carry issue. While "punishing the whole group for the actions of a few", generally worked in school when they were trying to control the group, it doesn't serve a purpose in this matter IMO. The nine plaintiffs are the ones that started the trouble and they are the ones that need to feel the pain. I understand that others were behind them in the lawsuit and posted against the carry. The nine plus the posters are the those that deserve the boycott, not our supporters.
  3. I've been poking around searching for the list of the nine restaurant owners that filed the lawsuit and can't seem to find the names and which restaurant(s) they own. I know Randy Rayburn is the ring leader so I don't give him any of my money. Just wanted to make sure I'm not helping to support the other eight unknowingly.

In my research we ended up with the LCP for my wife. In her comparison of both, she didn't care which one we bought. I did quite a bit of reading, etc. on both. IMHO I think the LCP is a higher quality pistol. You may want to check out the following videos. The first is for the 3at. The others are on the LCP but he ends up comparing it with the 3at so it's good info. YouTube - Kel-Tec P-3AT .380 pistol: Airweight Defender YouTube - Ruger LCP pistol: Undercover Cool YouTube - Shooting Ruger LCP .380: Amazing Accuracy Regarding your question on ankle carry with the 3at, not sure why you would want to unless she never wears pants with pockets. Those things are so small that they drop in a pocket really easy. I save ankle carry as my last choice when I carry if I can. That is unless I'm going to be doing a good bit of sitting which makes it more desirable. Don't let the 380 shortage push you to a .32, I know it is still a little hit or miss on finding some but it's out there. It seems to be getting better all the time. Good luck with which ever one you choose.
  5. I agree with HOTSHOT, you will be okay. I've had to do the same thing due to the primer shortage. Always used CCI, had to go to Winchester, then Federal, now Remington. I never changed the grain amount due to the lighter loads I run. Out of the batch I'll probably standardize on Winchester in the future.
  6. +1000 It's hard to imagine what this country would be like without the sacrifice of our veterans. I thank you, and my family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts. God Bless.
  7. Yea. I've been thinking the same thing. I'm going to put some money behind Pelosi's opponent for sure. She's gotta go!!!!!!
  8. I think your comment above says enough. Unless you are wanting to get into this as a federal licensed ammo maker with all required insurance, I'd stay away from the idea, IMHO.
  9. For all those of you that have Gordon, Davis, or Tanner as a Rep, don't get fooled into thinking they really opposed the bill. Nancy didn't require Democratic Reps that were in tight voting races to vote yes. That's why the vote was so close. Cooper and Cohen are viewed as having a tighter lock on getting re-elected and therefore were made to vote yes. In other words, Gordon didn't "buck the system", he just got a pass in order to have a better chance to get re-elected. KICK his butt out. My Rep is Cooper and I'll do my best to help kick him out. Not sure if we'll be successful but we'll try.
  10. Yea, what he said. IMO, if you're just wanting to look around, the Franklin Gun Shop has a ton of firearms in inventory. They're on the high side as far as prices so I don't shop there myself. Hero Gear is not close as others have said, but a great place. Good selection of firearms and accessories. Guns and Leather gets most of my business.
  11. Thanks for the post. So many more things we enjoy are tied to what veterans have done, and continue to do for us.
  12. oops! I hate it when that happens. A man has to know his own strength.
  13. Thanks for the link!
  14. Don't cause you'll shoot your butt off.
  15. +1 Being a hard*ss customer might get you some initial results, but it won't get you as far, or possibly better service in the long run if you are polite, friendly, etc. That doesn't mean you roll over. Just treat people like you want to be treated and most of the time it works out.
  16. Convert a Saiga.
  17. To use a southern expression...jump on it like a duck on a june bug.
  18. While they are not pinpoint sharp, the ends do put pressure in sensitive areas of the body. It's not meant to penetrate the skin. The nice thing it really fits well in the hand and won't come out easily. A carry knife is not even allowed on some campuses. While it's not deadly, it's better than nothing in cases that your wife or daughter can't carry something more lethal.
  19. I became aware of this and thought it might be worthy to share. It could come in handy for times you aren't able to carry or as an additional protection means. www.TheSpikey.com - Defend, Fight Back, Stay Safe!
  20. You might want to check this out. It's mainly geared towards women but it works just as well in the hands of a male. Be sure to check out the different parts of the website to see different ways it can be used. It feels really natural in your hands. www.TheSpikey.com - Defend, Fight Back, Stay Safe! It is not classifed as a weapon so it's campus friendly. I'm not 100% sure but I believe a baton is considered a weapon by some groups.
  21. Voted. I wonder if he'll make the list or not. I'm thinking they will kick our votes out. If they do, I'm calling ACORN.
  22. While I don't go in there too often, I've had a hit or miss on people being friendly, all from the same folks. It's probably a case of people having a bad day every now and then. I've got to stop by sometime this week to look at ammo boxes so I'll pay attention to the folks. I agree their gun prices are high and not much selection.
  23. Guns and Leather has them for $319 (credit card price). With cash you get a 3% discount.
  24. I second "Owl Hollow" down in Franklin. Here's the link. CHMR
