  1. I passed along your story to Obama a few minutes ago and he said he wants HIS gun back.
  2. I bet my side hurts almost as much as her face.
  3. I've also got the RCBS 5-10. It still works great and suits my needs.
  4. Not sure what to recommend since you didn't mention what type of action you wanted. Am I correct in assuming that you want a semi-automatic pistol since you mentioned the Walther? Are you wanting something to have fun with plinkling (which opens up all kinds of possibilies) or something that will be closer in fit and function to a typical semi-auto "carry" pistol such as the P22 or Sig Mosquito? For just general plinking it's hard to beat the Ruger Mark III's but it doesn't function like the P22 or Mosquito as you probably know.
  5. Of the dates listed, here's the order of my preference. 25th 26th 2nd 3rd
  6. It sounds like you've got it covered with Magpies but I would recommend making it yourself. Women seem to really prefer homemade things. It can taste half as good but you'll still get double the credit IMO.
  7. Good luck finding a holster for that thing. Trigger guard...we don't need no stinking trigger guard.
  8. I totally agree. I was in process of running the numbers on the list plus a few others while you were posting your comment. db99wj = 6,946 5.3/day jackdm3 = 5,115 13.02/day OhShoot = 7,028 8.83/day Rightwinger = 3,532 3.08/day Mike357 = 7,689 6.54/day kb4ns = 2,417 13.99/day Not sure if there is a easy way to just filter by the posts/day.
  9. Just a prelude to the next technology...automated reading of our goberment installed ID chips in our bodies.
  10. +1 on that for sure. Kegger you didn't show a pic from the back side for us to see if the seat of the shorts is a dark brown.
  11. As others have said you can use a .22 revolver. In fact my wife took hers with a single action .22 revolver since she was the most comfortable shooting that one at the time. She now carries a .38 revolver. Just as a heads up on using revolvers, if it's a SA/DA they will make you shoot it in DA (at least where we took ours).
  12. Here's Mike's - copied from his post.
  13. Here's a stippling job from one of the members on the MP-Pistol forum. One of the cleanest I've seen.
  14. Which one is on the pistol now, the small, med, or large? I'm running the medium. Saw you're in Nashville. You're welcome to try the ones I've got rather than buy the other grips just to try. PM me if you want. Like others have said, the Apex parts really help the trigger.
  15. Nice collection. What's the details on the single action wheelguns?
  16. I think she will be fine with the 12 gauge but YMMV. My wife is about the same size and handles one just fine.
  17. Nice Smith. I guess I never paid attention that those were 7 shot, cool.
  18. I was wondering if that was the origin for your screen name. I"m guessing I was right.
  19. Nice shooting. At 50 yards I'm guessing the size of the Red Dot was covering the target aim point.
  20. It would be over before it even started.
  21. That's enough fire to roast hotdogs for sure. Just way more expensive.
  22. Congrats are truly in order! I've enjoyed reading your updates.
  23. You may also want to look at USPSA as well as IDPA since you really mentioned your competitive nature. Here's a quick comparison of the two. IDPA / IPSC Comparison If you have any interest in USPSA here's a club that shoots in Dickson and appears to shoot at the same range as MCTS club due to the address, just on a different weekend. 24. Same good experience as others. One additional good thing that no one has mentioned is that you don't have to provide a copy of your DL to prove your age like some other sites like Aim Surplus.
