  1. I'd venture to say the percentage of folks that put 35,000+ rounds on one gun in its lifetime is very small. Basically the average Joe shouldn't worry about the round count life of their .40 pistols. I know I'm not.
  2. I don't have either brand but both have been around quite a while so if you like what you see, I wouldn't be afraid to order. My two comments about Alabama Holsters is the fit and finish IMO opinion are a touch lower than some other brands. Also it looks like their belt loops are "cut" into the holster rather than adjustable loops so you aren't able to adjust the cant if want. Regarding the closest fitting OWB holsters, choose one that has adjustable "side wing mount" belt loops rather than back mounted loops. The side wings allow it to pull the holster in tighter. That's one thing we're blessed with is a plethora of holster makers, so Google is your friend. You should have a number of brands to choose from on the search. I will throw out one that I've used a couple of times and have been pleased with is linked below. The good thing about the style linked is that the holster can also be used as an IWB if you use the IWB spring clips. While it's not as small as an IWB only holster, it gives you some flexibility if OWB is your main carry choice. https://www.multiholsters.com/shop/outside-the-waistband-holsters/2-in-1-multi-holster/
  3. Go big or go home. I'll probably be able to see the beam from Hwy 100 if you fire it off in the sky from your house.
  4. How in the world did you get it the same day? Was that ordered through Amazon?
  5. That and also the person at the airline ticket counter. I have no proof, but suspect after witnessing folks giving crap to the ticket agent, they might have physically gotten to their destination, but I bet their luggage didn't...
  6. We use one of his comments at work from time to time. "We don't make mistakes, we have happy accidents."
  7. Now that's a word you don't hear very often, especially on TGO.
  8. The way I'm seeing this is the Dems need Biden to get the more moderate votes. All the future efforts will be placed in the VP pick. Assuming Joe gets elected, shortly after the election, he steps down as not being able to fill the duties of the job. Then their VP is able to take over and start implementing their "plan".
  9. He means get into reloading your own ammo. In the case of 300 blackout, it's based on the .223/5.56 brass that is shortened. I don't do it personally since I don't use that caliber, but hear it's not that difficult to convert the brass. Reloading your own ammo really opens up your options for ammo supply and is a great hobby to expand your shooting fun. You can shoot more for the same amount of money once you have your equipment.
  10. Shake awake for shake and bake...
  11. What's your opinion if it was one of the orange colored ones they offer? Wouldn't that kinda be like the orange tips on the barrel that toys are supposed to have?
  12. Just a heads up that date in the thread title appears to be the wrong month.
  13. Congrats! Noticed that you used the past tense when referring the training so I guess you're good to go. Hopefully you weren't a slow learner.
  14. I understand the concept of making the window a little less rigid to lessen breakage if the rioter didn't have something like a crowbar, etc. Is there any information you can link that tests the concept? I did some very quick searching and didn't come across anything. Not saying this is incorrect info, just wanting to educate myself.
  15. I would say the 365 is very shootable. It's hard to really give you a comparison since I had one of the (15) .40 cal Shields in the country. . So I changed from 16 rnds of .40 with a spare +1 mag, to 28 rnds of 9 mm with the 12 rnd mag in the gun and the 15 rnd spare mag.
  16. Yep, I'm a P365 convert as well. Transitioned from a Shield and really like the extra round count.
  17. Sounds like you don't have the proper priorities... I actually shoot a lot less than I use to. Some of that is due to being in conservation mode given today's climate.
  18. Kinda reminds me of most house garages that I pass where there's easily more than $50,000 in cars parked outside, and $250 worth of junk piled in the garage...
  19. If I were you, I'd give Uncle Joe a call to get his thoughts. I hear he's fond of double barrel shotguns...
  20. Ha. I resemble that remark. While it takes a good shooter, the spotter is equally important, and Jerry gave him a nice shout out in the video.
  21. It's not being pushed because there's no money to be made through people taking Vitamin D.
  22. Unless the information I've seen regarding the cause of death declarations, at least by some agencies, (if the patient tests positive but the death wasn't the true cause of death, it got counted as a covid death anyway) is untrue, the death count to me is a useless statistic until you take out the BS numbers.
  23. I'm not in the need of a roof, but for everyone that has quoted the price along with the sq footage of the house, has that been for a single story or multi story? Obviously that makes a big difference in how much roof is actually laid down.
