The law became effective in 2014 if I'm not mistaken. The gentleman that was told that veiled threat by the Morristown officer, should report him to the state's D.A. for "further education" in the laws he's supposed to be enforcing. It's said that ignorance of the law is no defense...that should be tripled for law enforcement! Three years on the books should be quite enough time for L.E. to get accustomed to it. Maybe not but at least then it would be an option. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

One thing I've wondered, IF...& that's a big one...TN passes Constitutional Carry, will the permit fees be refunded, within a reasonable time frame, as in Eray's case? I know it's rhetorical but I had to ask. Wayne Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

Thanks David. Sorry for all the confusion but if it's any help, I CAN see the screenshots other have shown but shared pictures are like this... I appreciate you taking your time to try to resolve this. Wayne Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

And I got on TGO to read stories from my fellow Tennesseans anyway, not look at your ugly mugs. Lol. Just like reading Playboy "for the articles"! As long as I can do that & everyone know I'm not ex military or LEO (don't want to misrepresent myself) I'm good to go. Would be nice to know how to edit a post though. Then I wouldn't have to do all this extra typing. Just enjoyi g life in East Tennessee! Wayne Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

Tapatalk is how I found TGO. If there's a better way, let me know. I use a tablet, not a phone & I'm not seeing any difference as per your other post. Didn't mean to rile your feathers. I was just looking to get an answer on the problems I'm having. I got on Tapatalk because of the S&W forum & had no problems with it. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

Same with mine. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

Just for example, on Oh Shoot's profile, I took a screen shot & this is what I see (if it posts). Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

And I'm not seeing anyone else's profile picture either. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

Except for the Knoxville part. I did fill out information initially but did not mark any military or LEO involvement cause I remember feeling bad that I haven't (4F & physically ineligible). No big deal but I hate to misrepresent myself (one other commenter commended me & I had to humble myself in correcting him) but I still can't see any posted pictures. I don't have this problem on the S&W forum. Just a little frustrating because I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Wayne Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

I can't get to my profile to change that info. I haven't served in military or LE. & I didn't put that info in Tapatalk, so I don't know how it got there. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

Looking at it from my end, I see a blank profile & when I click on it, it brings a window up for choosing a photo from my gallery or camera...& if I choose, I get the spinning circle & then nothing. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

I've noticed that any photos in posts I read, show a "broken" icon & no pictures. I can't add my own profile picture, my replies to posts don't show on my profile, links don't work & my profile evidently has erronious information, that I can't see because I have no access to it. What gives? Is there a secret handshake I've missed? Wayne Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

Thank you Randall! Not a problem. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

I appreciate the kind words but if my profile shows military & LEO service, it was put there by mistake or by someone else. I wanted to serve but was classified 4F cause of one functioning kidney. My younger brother's a LEO in the Knox County Sheriff Department (Captain) but I couldn't medically qualify. I'm grateful I've made it this long & bad habits were ended too late to do any good...but I plan on sliding into the grave saying it was one helluva ride! I'm sure they find some way to charge for it. Sent from my SM-T377P using Tapatalk

I'm 62, with a heart condition that has my heart operating at 25%. Although they generously dropped the initial license fee from $115, down to $100 (how very noble of them), being on disability makes it hard to afford the $100, much less, a $200 LT license when I may never make it to the first renewal fee. Not trying to be a downer bit I am a realist. Thank God, we have constitutional carry before the state legislation now. Hope it passes. Should know soon.
