Well, you ARE an.....just kidding I've had somebody go plum psycho on me over the phone because I couldn't meet their demands that very second because I was walking into a funeral. That's been several years ago so I can't remember if that was over sending more pictures or actually meeting up. I mean had a hissy fit over it. That ended any possibility of them being able to do business with me. Thankfully it wasn't a member here. We do have some here though. That's to be expected I guess. After all, we do live in a time where people stand impatiently in front of the microwave screaming at it to hurry up. Sometimes I really wonder what is wrong with people.

I did buy a pair of the Keen wedge sole 8" boots for work. They have the wedge sole, which is very comfortable (first wedge soles I've tried). I still want a pair of moc toe boots for everyday wear, but with a regular heeled sole. I know I'm being picky, but I just don't want a white sole on a boot for casual wear. I'm checking out the White's now. I wish I could afford a pair of Nick's boots, but, wow $$$$$$$$$$$$

I believe I'm destined for a pair. I've generally read nothing but good reviews. How do the sizes run? I'm curious if they run large or small, wide or narrow.

Not a huge Jack fan, but Gentleman Jack is pretty good. Come to think of it, I’ve never tried George Dickel. If I keep anything around I do tend to favor Jim Beam Black.

Well, after all, how am I going to show off my toe socks without some toe boots?

I’m wanting some of these boots for general wear, not as dedicated work boots. I also don’t want that white wedge sole, which I do hear is more comfortable on concrete. They have one called the Crazyhorse and one called the Flyway, both with the regular heeled sole. Both look great to me. I’m tired of (and from) my feet hurting all the time and I hear the Thorogoods are very comfortable. I’m sold on the Saloman hikers I have, but they don’t look as nice as these moc toe boots. Anybody have any experience with them? What do you think?

I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I don’t attend tin foil hat fashion shows, but I’ve been thinking a lot about how the communists are foaming at the mouth, as someone mentioned, to ban ARs. I’ve come to the point where I’m starting to believe that if it was crossbows and slingshots instead of ARs that the communists wanted to ban, all these mass murders would involve crossbows and slingshots. -
I have not had (or taken) the time to comment on this thread, but I have read every post, and I’ve learned a pretty good bit. These events, as horrific as they are (and are going to get worse), have made one thing glaringly clear, and that is how divided we really are.

Right. Except for the fact that most of us have been saving bacon grease for many years, and sometimes aluminum foil. No kiddin! Man bacon grease would make gravel taste good. Thin sliced taters fried in bacon grease with some salt and pepper Hoooweee!

Beautiful shootin irons, and a mighty fine read as well.

I, for one, will have to seek counseling for my withdrawal symptoms. -

No joke! Burned my way through childhood.

Absolutely beautiful piece.

It is true that I can do anything I put my mind to. There’s just less that I tend to put my mind to.

This life is indeed preparation for the beginning.

I want to see this movie. I’ve been hearing good things about it. I’ve also been hearing that the “Helly-weird” elites are mad about it, which, to me, is also hearing good things about it.

I hate to hear that. I’ve been watching him for about as long as I can remember. He was one of my favorites.

Ha! I haven’t gotten brave enough to start having her look for flaws.

That tri-fold in burgundy or oxblood is !

That’s a valid statement. When I make something I know where the flaws are and it bothers me.

The sheath on the right was requested by a gentleman a while back for an Esee 5. He wanted the scales dyed as well. While he was waiting he sent word that he had given his grandson the same knife and wanted one built for him too. Then he saw a picture of a holster I had made for a friend of mine with initials on it, so he asked if I could put his grandson’s initials on it. I said sure, I’ll do that. A little later he asked if I could do an arrow with fletching and a flint-knapped broadhead. I said well I’m not sure but I’m a-gonna try it. (Plum skeered at that point) So the sheath on the left is the one built for his grandson. The picture below is the grandson’s sheath in the raw with a little bit of design on the belt loop. I’m not the artistic type so it took me a while to do all that. There’s still some things I don’t like about it and I’d very much love to be able to improve on not only adding designs, but everything I’m doing. I hope he likes them.

Sounds like you have some good churches in your area. I wish there were some around here like that.
