    Springfield XD9

This is the 4" Service model in Dark Earth. Almost identical in size to the G23 I carry at work. Just a little longer grip frame on the XD.
  3. I'm converting all my defensive handguns to Glock 9mm for my own logistical reasons. Too long of a list to get into right now, but that's what I'm doing. Right now I have a Sig 220 and a Springfield XD9 with 6 mags each. I guess I'll start with the XD trade. I'm going to start out getting a G17 or 19. Maybe even a 17L or 34. How hard do you think it would be to get the XD traded (FTF) for a Glock? If I can't get it traded, what price do you think I should place on it? How about the 220 (holster wear on the slide). I know I can't afford to trade the 220 even up for a Glock, but I would the XD. If I don't have any luck with the 220, I may just trade the XD and keep the 220. I'll have to see what happens. Any input/advice here on fair prices (fair to me and the buyer) and also, I need advice on how to rate a handgun as far as condition. Any advice would be appreciated.
  4. ARROGANCE. Thugs. Government dependant (intentionally chosen, not due to disability or other circumstance) idiots taking up perfectly good air. Liberals.

  6. Well, I suppose ole R Lee Ermey IS getting old and senile, so I guess he could be more easily influenced and made to buy into the "Glock Infection.":D
  7. Definite Darwin Award winner. He desperately needs to be removed from the gene pool!
  8. I'm not sure if you mean "how much" or "why." Reason is: I ain't exactly gittin rich doing police work, so I'll have to move it to get another play-purdy. I've got the hankerin for an AK in other words.
  9. Welllll, not much help out of the "Looking for AK" thread. Let's try this. I've heard that you could install a stronger spring set in the Ruger Mini Thirty to solve the problem of light firing pin strikes/hard primers on Russian ammo. Where could one find these and how would you go about it? Just in case I don't get it sold. On another note. I'm toying with the idea of trading my Sig 220 .45 for a Sig 228/229 in 9mm for logistics purposes. Think I'm a doofus? Well you might be right. But, just something I've been thinking about. If anyone doesn't think it's crazy and wants to do that, give me a holler and we'll study about it. Thanks, Rick

    Looking for AK

10-4. I don't really want a Romanian. Some I know have them and love them, I just want something different. And, due to experience, I'll stay entirely away from anything Century (Gun Butchers Inc.) has gotten their paws on. I used to own a Saiga, so that's an option. Also heard good things about the Bulgarians. I'm just not that experienced at appraising a used AK, or looking for potential problems. So I kind of need some advice on what to look for. Any help would be appreciated.
  13. Howdy folks! I'm trying to get prepared for buying an AK. Cause I REEEEELLLLY! want an AK. BUT, I'm gonna have to sell my mini thirty to do it, dang it, since I can't afford to just go out and buy one. Otherwise I'd take the Saiga I saw on here. So, for one, what do you think I should ask for the mini (good shape, several mags)? Two, I need some pointers on what to look for in an AK as far as quality. I'd really like a Saiga if I can find one after I sell this. I've heard good stuff about the Mak 90 quality. Also want to dress it up a little, not much. Gimmee a holler and let me know.
  14. Now you just need to open one in my town so I can eat there every day!
  15. HEY! whurd ja git my XD? thought it was still in my truck!

  17. Sure ain't your "same-ole, same-ole."
  18. Must be one heck of a scope! Gonna have to git me one of those!
  19. Yep! I saw that one. Even my 10 year old son makes fun of them on that one!
  20. Sig 228/229 Browning Hi Power Springfield XD9 Sig 220
  21. I've had my Mossy 500 for several years now. Got about 150 in it. Just last year I bought an 870. Got 225 in it. Shouldn't be a problem keeping within budget. Good thinking about the scattergun for HD. Hard to beat em for that purpose.
  22. Hey now! Guns are a NEED! We all know that on here, right? P.S. If you disagree with that, just don't tell my wife, she might think someone's on her side.
