  1. I just got word tonight that there's supposed to be one, or something like it, in Erin of all places. I haven't been able to verify it though.
  2. This psychotic narcissist needs to go away.
  3. YEP! Duct tape in reserve! You only break out the duct tape if it's really bad.
  4. Well, I'm gonna start out tomorrow with an Estwing, vise grips, and baling twine.
  5. Blame it on typing while tired and assuming that part would be assumed, which, I assume, was a bad assumption.  He sent some rounds with it. Yes, I'm going to shoot it soon as I get the chance and verify what he's talking about, then work on it. Which will probably be Thursday morning, I assume.
  6. Well, by George I think I want one in that caliber!   I just got a TLE a couple weeks ago, and I've been trying to decide on a holster. Yours looks as if it would wear somewhat like a Versamax or similar. You're just up the road from me. I think I'd be better off just getting with you when I decide to get a holster instead of ordering something else.
  7. Is that one of them "80%" 1911s? :dirty: Just kiddin. That is a very good looking holster. What do you charge for one like that for a standard non-rail?
  8. They've allegedly had the thing apart checking for obstructions and binding. I think before I really get into it I'll call the guy back and get a more detailed account of what happened and take some notes.
  9. I should've clarified that. It's a Norinco. You can tell it's been a while since I've fooled with an SKS. Ya'll are right, they don't have flash hiders. So that would mean about 3" of barrel they cut off. I'll go ahead this week and get the gas block off and start working on it a little at a time.
  10. A guy asked me to look at his SKS. I forget what he said happened to the barrel, but, something happened to the barrel toward the muzzle end. He told me he and someone had taken approximately three inches of barrel off (probably including the flashhider) at a machine shop. It has been cut straight and re-crowned from what I can see, it just doesn't have a front sight now.   He says that now it's not cycling. Made me think that it might not be getting enough gas to the bolt rod now. Could this be a problem with too small of a gas port? In other words, since the barrel is now shorter, does the gas port need to be slightly enlarged? This was my first thought, but I thought I'd see if you folks could tell me whether or not I'm on track before I start taking it apart.
  11. I think #2 is "Woodhenge"
  12. I'll do you one better: You can ship it to me and I'll give it a good home, make sure it gets fed well and exercised. And, I won't even charge you the $25! :taunt: Just put it away and don't let it bother you. You'll probably be happier in the long run if you keep it.

    LE Discount

I was looking a while back. GT had a great price, but by the time tax and shipping were added, it was only about 15 or 20 dollars difference if I remember correctly. I was really after a gen 3 19, and it was going to be a pretty good wait at that time anyway since they didn't have them in stock. I know it's way out of your area, but just for example, there's a shop in Dover who's price is roughly $475 out the door on blue label. I think Guns and Archery in Clarksville is close to that as well.
  14. I haven't gotten around to making up any bee killer loads yet, but I've lost count with this here tennis racket.
  15. Well that's a relief. I thought I was the only one who had that as the very first thing to come to my mind when I hear that music. Sort of like seeing the creepy stalker van everyone refers to.
  16.
  17. Yeah, I'd vapor-lock up so tight they'd have to call in a high-angle rescue team to get me out, and that'd be BEFORE I went anywhere near the mountain!
  18. Looks more like limited sanity to me!
  19. HEY! I KNEW you'd been spying on me! Geez, I hope nobody else knows. Ah crap, on second thought, everybody knows.
  20. See, he should've been using a .40. That way there'd be no harm done and he could've kept on working. :stir:
  21. Welllll.....at least not for that. :)

    WGD

That's just plain ole cruelty right there. Plain and simple. :)
  23. Geez! That was hilarious. I read all I could stand, but didn't make it all the way through. So he's sort of the patriarch of the mall ninjy clan huh?
  24. I dunno. The one I wanted is not quite as ugly.
  25. I just want a radioactive Wildebeest.
