You would probably be better off trusting the alarmist youtube channel than trusting us here. And I guess I skipped right over your info about the only road being blocked. That would make sense, and might mean the post office didn't really have anything to do with the observatory closure at all, just no reason to leave it open. Hmmm. Interesting-er by the minute.

I fully agree about terrorists wanting publicity, and no, this place wouldn't give them that.
-
A few possibilities: Gas leak: could cause evac, but probably wouldn't involve FBI Terrorist threats: could come from any number of groups, but why threaten an observatory of all places? Terrorist activity: could be in the form of hazmat being mailed to the observatory and could explain the shutdown of the post office. Could be other forms of terrorism. But again, why? Structure problems: could cause evac, but probably wouldn't shut down post office and involve FBI. Land problems: could cause evac of area, but probably wouldn't involve FBI. The one obvious fact is that something caused the Federal Bureaucracy of Inconsistencies to shut everything down and evac everyone. The question is why? What can we add to the list?

So, all my joking aside, what do you honestly think it is? You have probably researched this more than I have. I am very curious about this. A place like this, or any place, suddenly being invaded by the FBI and closed down, along with a post office and immediate area, and not even an official make-believe story issued, leads to a lot of speculation. And naturally so, since most humans are naturally curious. I'm sure before it over it'll be the fault of FarumpadumpTrump and RootinTootinPootin, but we'll probably never know the who's, why's n wherefores. I'm not categorizing the possibility of someone mailing something like anthrax to that facility as workplace violence. That's in the terrorism category. It's not out of the question that that could be what happened, but it's probably not what happened. It's just another possibility on the long list of possibilities. However, if they closed the observatory as a precautionary measure because of some threat to the observatory, why close the post office? And why threaten an observatory of all places to begin with? But that's not beyond the realm of possibilities either. I happen to not believe in aliens, and I'm not real sure about Bigfoot. So, discounting aliens, Bigfoot, Rosie, and Elvis for the time being. why don't we compile a list of actual possible scenarios that could have led to this?

I had a mkIII many years ago. I shouldn't have been so stupid as to let it go. Good choice there

Really? Can't prove it by me because I still feel like fake news myself this morning! @&${}#% Dang antibiotics! It probably is fake though. Just like anything else we're likely to hear about that place and what happened. Funny that they haven't made up an "official" story yet though. Their official fiction writers must be on vacation.

I just woke up as well, and I'm unsure if I myself am made up, much less this. I should know better than to read this early.

I'm still wondering about the possibility of something unhealthy being mailed through that post office to someone working at the observatory. Pure speculation on my part of course, because it could very well turn out to be something to do with terrorism or national security. All of which are human in nature. I don't really believe that Elvis was spying on Rosie. One pretty safe bet is that we'll probably never know the truth about it.
-
I think they did it wrong

YOU MUST BEELEEEEV!

So your saying Rosie Odonnell has infiltrated White Sands and found Elvis' safe house and was spying on it? Seriously though, this is a great curiosity. "Curious-er and curious-er" as someone once said. I wonder if we'll ever hear anything remotely resembling the truth about this.
-
With them shutting down the post office as well, it sounds like something may have come through the mail, through that post office, then to the observatory. Something that might have been slightly unhealthy, you know, like some of the current crop of medications that are prescribed all the time. That, or some scientist spotted Rosie Odonnell about to go for a swim so they had to shut the place down until the crew's therapy sessions were completed. Or someone finally spotted Elvis' safe house. But I'm just theorizing

I hate to hear this. I don't really know what to say right now. I do believe that our enemy satan is quite adept at being able to cause people to feel isolated and hopeless, which often results in these tragedies happening. I can say that because I have been through the feelings of isolation and hopelessness. May the Lord bestow peace on his family.

That feller looks like he's already crossed over the line into full blown crazy anyhow. Bet he was a handful to run into in a dark hedgerow.

I dunno, but I bet TWRA is trying right this minute to figure out how to explain that picture away.
-
I'd like to try that out for sure.

I don't remember but I don't think it quite reaches up to a good 357 mag load. But, a lot of folks are kindly fond o them there new fangled arty-mattics. But, I am, after all, guilty of packing a magnum wheel gun most of the time.

I've always said that .357 Sig was the ONLY good thing to come out of that abomination known as .40. Very good round. Price and availability are the reasons I never switched to it. About the same reasons I never switched to 10mm, another excellent round, especially when fed the good stuff.

I've seen a lot of, well, stuff I didn't want to see. Body parts, such as heads, can certainly blow apart due to a close contact shot. There's always the powder burn though. But, I can't see the bottom (palm) of his hand, so I don't really know. Whatever the cause, it looks like it will leave a lasting memory.

I quit buying levis many, many years ago because they were anti. I used to have some diamond gusset jeans. They were great! Do they still have that store in Hickman county? I don't even know where to find them any more.
