  1. Somebody truly needs this.
  2. Smith and Wesson 629 3 inch ported. Bought this a couple years ago used from Guns.com. It's wearing a Hogue smooth grip now instead of the Pachmayr Diamond Pro pictured. The Pachmayr is actually for a K frame, but I wanted to see if it would fit. I do not have a box for this one, didn't come with one. It has the Mag-na-port style porting, but it's not marked as any kind of special edition like the Trail Boss. Someone told me that Smith was offering some kind of package deal at the time where the customer could pick the Mag-na-port option. I don't know. I don't have any way of knowing how many rounds are through it, but it has been a good shooter during the time I've had it. Shoots just fine with off the shelf .44 magnum ammo, but if you decide to roll some Underwood .44 hard cast through it, well, just grab ahold and hang on. As in the ad for my BFR, I'm working on outfitting myself with a pair of Lipseys Ruger Bisleys in .44 magnum, one in the 5.5 inch and one in the 3.75 inch. Those are all I'm interested in. ETA: BFR ALREADY TRADED. I'M JUST AFTER THE 5.5 INCH NOW. Sale/Trade value $1000.
  3. Chicken or beef is fine. Can't tolerate shrimp.
  4. Dadgum! Is that some kind of puppet or is that beast real?

Well if there ever was a sensitive situation that's gotta be it
  6. I think I could stay awake for a week and not drink anything at all the last three days before I went to bed and I'd still have to pee 20 minutes after I laid down.
  7. PM sent. I'll take the whole case of 124 grain.
  8. Yeah, I agree it needs to be shot, but what would you shoot it with?
  9. Well, I did it. Went somewhere with the wife. She booked us a little cabin in Townsend because she wanted us to get away for a couple days. At least I was thankful for that because I despise Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. Way too many people there. Keep in mind that I'm not much on traveling. My preferred version of "getting away" is to take the four wheeler to the woods and set up a tarp and hammock. Can't get her to do that though. I don't really know what the deal with this trip was, but aside from having great food each time we ate, everything we tried to do sucked. Even the cabin sucked. Neither one of us slept well at all. I told her when I got up yesterday morning that I really think I'd have been more comfortable hanging upside down in a tree. We were eating at a cafe on the way out yesterday and laughing together about how badly everything had gone. The whole thing was just weird. At least I did most of the driving, so I wasn't having to remain in a state of abject fear most of the time.
  10. Yeah. I have neither bell bottoms nor hair left over myself. So much for ideas. I think you'll at least enjoy the Headhunters.
  11. I dunno. I might suggest big hair and bell bottoms.
  12. Looking for a compact solar battery bank to order. Looking at the ones that are about cell phone size or slightly larger. Just worried about getting some kind of what I call Triple C brand - Cheap Chinese Crap.
  13. I've seen quite a few over the last couple of months. I have to admit they're growing on me...meaning I hate them more every time I see one.
  14. I am very sorry. This is one of the hardest things to go through. I have such a love for my dogs that I've never gotten over the ones I've lost. They give us unconditional love. They certainly deserve no less from us, maybe more. May the Lord grant you peace.
  15. I really want everyone to know up front that I can't resist and I'm very sorry for this and I just have to get it out of my system, but did he tell her "Take my hand, we'll make it I swear!"???
  16. I knew it was close at hand. I sure hate it. He was one of my all time favorites.
  17. Nope, nope, nope. Friend of mine and his wife tried the vegan thing for a while. He was dumb enough to ask me to try it too. I said something to the effect of .... well nevermind what I said. That was a few years back. His ears are still sore.
  18. Buzzers and chimes going off, lights blinking, smoke coming from somewhere.....
  19. Regrettably I don't know anything about fly fishing. I've been wanting to learn it for a long time, but like so many other things I've never gotten around to it. My brother has formed a working relationship with the Douglas rod company and has been telling me about their rods. He's the one doing the review here. He also told me that he and another guy are working on a full length feature film on fly fishing, sort of fly fishing from the ground up. I'm happy for him that he's getting to do things like this.

  20. Sounds like a blessed day to me.
  21. I don't use a password generator. I store all my passwords in my brain. Not secure at all. Files tend to get lost there......
  22. Yep. I was pretty sure that was the case, but it sure sounds entertaining. I guess an alternative would be to cast a fish net over his face.
  23. You mean you would actually DO that to somebody?!?!?! Yeah, I would too. Call me before you do so I can come watch! Or maybe even just listen.
