Had this happen about a year ago. Two occurances, one debit one credit. Both used iTunes as a test transaction, followed by a major amount - fortunately for me, more than was available! The debit did lock up my bank account for several days, then more to issue new card number. Both happened a week or two after online purchases from Classic Arms - probable coincidence, but the only other thing common to both events.

In other news, the sky is blue...water is wet...and I bought 4k primers after reading ATK's notice about a month ago...and another 2k this weekend. Should be set for a little while...not to mention broke! -

Just bought a pound of Unique and noticed that it was quite a bit lighter for a given volume than load data indicated. I wonder if Alliant's new cleaner burning formula has anything to do with it?

More on CBS News w/ Katie tonight - this report on the "Beanbag Patrol" incident resulting in BP agent Brian Terry's death. The piece also has Terry's sister responding to the Dodson interview last night. Incredible. Link to Sipsey Street - haven't checked CBS online yet, just watched it on the tube. -
I doubt Mike meant to cast aspersions on your character or anything, but let he who is without sin cast the first stone. You will be forever typecast after mere participation in this thread. Such behavior will lead one to substance abuse, a substance known to the state of California to be toxic... I'm sorry, did you say sickness?

Gold Rush Alaska , sparked gold fever with some co workers and myself
ttocswob replied to vontar's topic in General Chat
Years ago, my cousin started a mini gold rush with the kids around here - turns out he had seeded the creek with spray-painted rocks! Sorry, that's my only experience. -
I take about a 10% hit on gas mileage w/ ethanol, compared to pure gasoline - it might as well not be there. We'll see $5 a gallon gas/other flammable substance by June at the latest IMO. Ant this is not "peak oil" - it's all political.

I was in there January, didn't notice it then.

Monday bump: I cast about 250 9x18 Makarov and about 100 .311 (for Nagant and .32) Saturday, about 1-1/2 hours wasted/spent/actually enjoyed! For ingots: I use an old muffin pan - works great!

I'm relatively new to reloading, but I started casting .44 ball and .50 real bullets for black powder last year. I recently started reloading .38/.357, 9x18 Makarov (using resized 9mm brass), and 7.62x38 Nagant (real challenge there). I've found I enjoy bullet casting and reloading almost as much as shooting! As for time spent...well, nobody's paying me to watch TV, either!

I suffer from chronic sinus problems. For me, Sudafed is the only med that provides some relief. That PE stuff is as effective as rubber cement. Soon I will be required to spend half a day waiting at the Dr, then more time at the pharmacy...not to mention all the $$$...just to get some relief. I do not care how bad a menace to society meth is - it is NOT justification to restrict access to a safe and effective decongestant. I have nothing but contempt for those who want to regulate the components of an already illegal substance rather than go after real criminals in possession of meth. What's next? People huffing? Ban spray paint, glue and gasoline! Drowning? Let's outlaw water, that'l fix 'em! Gun control was a good idea, too.

Ditto on making friends, if at all possible. Most troopers I've met were decent people, even with their blue lights on, LOL. (haven't had a ticket in a long time, though)

I was amazed to see actual journalism on cBS - of course this is the first I've watched them in years! Yes, justice, state, and homeland insecurity dept's are all in up to their ears. -

Breaking: cBS news to report on "Project Gunwalker." Watch Katie tonite if you can stomach it. -
Church, work, out-of-town - concealed - when in Rome... I've quit bothering to conceal at the gas station, grocery store, wally, etc. Going to/from "outdoor activity" it's often a big gun in a big holster. And up here in the country, guess what...nobody cares! Well, I did get some wide-eyed stares from a couple of teens at the grocery store awhile back. Michigan plates on their mama's SUV...go figure!

Bob Owens at Confederate Yankee has an editorial up: ...scroll down for this post: Looks like this story has legs. -
1. Panic of 2008, no ammo in store. This led to getting my permit, and better arms. 2. On the job encounter with an unstable customer, who came too close while making a rather bizarre suggestion. I took a step back and raised my clipboard. He then offered me a piece of chewing gum! This later made me realize a clipboard was woefully inadequate for self-defense. 3. Christian/Newsom murders, and other violent incidents - some closer to home - led to my decision to carry daily.
