Yes - about every 6 months to a year if you use it everyday. They wear out. The Ace Case version works fairly well for my Mdl 36 j-frame, + 2 speed strips in the mag pockets. Still use the old one when walking/jogging. The new one is for church, etc, and rarely used. I've had the gun walk right out of the holster 2-3 times, before I learned to make sure my belt/waistband is adding support. Probably not a problem with an airweight or polymer gun. I also have a Bulldog that is useless for any of my guns, might work with a mousegun.

Once I was smashing .22 shorts with a hammer (since we weren't allowed to buy firecrackers) and a piece of brass hit my sister in the foot. BTW, I followed the rules too - the bullets were pointed downrange!

Let me clarify- I am NOT suggesting my Mak load for .380, just suggesting that titan14 may want to start with less than his idea of 3.1g bullseye! And I certainly won't put 4.5 g bullseye in my Mak's! JMO, YMMV! (And I edited my previous post to clarify)

I use 3.2 g bullseye w/ 100g cast ww bullets in my 9x18 Makarov (similar to .380 slightly larger and hotter) Fairly snappy in my P64 and CZ-82, but functions well. No load data in front of me but, you might want to work up to that (your suggested 3.1 g) load - especially if in a mousegun. JMO

I went hog "hunting" in Florida about 3 years ago; actually hog catching using dogs, just like TV! Local ordinance prohibited using guns where we were hunting. Also we were on a large cattle ranch, and there's a potential danger to livestock with guns or bows. Catching the hogs live allows you to kill them later, then immediately process the meat - important in hot climates. Yes hogs are a major problem. I've seen large lawn and garden areas wiped out in a single night here on the plateau.

Jamestown got an empty gunrack behind the counter; no guns yet! They had a few at the old Smallmart, but we got Supercentered about the time they cut back on gun sales. I heard a rumor that only a limited number of stores in a region were allowed to continue gun sales based on volume. Guess that's why Cookeville and Crossville beat us out. My Savage MkII came from wally. Nothing else - no handguns, EBR's or milsurps - not too excited about it.

Words of wisdom. Never ceases to amaze me - after every disaster, they always interview some "dependent" on TV crying, "Why don't somebody come and help us?" While in the background or off camera, someone is there DOING just that. Glad you're OK, Luke. My daughter & family are in Cleveland with minor damage.

Dry land fish up here on the plateau - we'uns do eat good every now and then. Morels are safe and delicious - battered and fried is best, but can be used as any other mushroom. The only 'shroom remotely similar is the so-called false morel, doesn't even resemble the real thing, IMO.

BREAKING: Angry Issa threatens ATF with contempt over Gunrunner stonewalling Title pretty much says it all. Never thought I'd have something in common with the bATFe - contempt of Congress!
