Is ‘Project Gunwalker’ about to bust wide open?
ttocswob replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
"Gunwalking" subpoena for AG Holder imminent Per Sharyl Attkisson, CBS - as early as today. Will call out more than a dozen senior DOJ officials by name, and seek all communications relevant to the scandal. Rush mentioned this on the air a few moments ago. -

Holder had better stay out of Ft. Marcy Park...under the bus is better than under the grass. -
Somebody got all fast and furious with that form Tape it up and send it in.

Priv Partisan is $22 at Aim. I've reloaded some with Priv/HotShot brass, but haven't worked out all the bugs yet. Cast 90gn .311 bullet, Unique, about 1000 fps. Also loaded some with Bullseye, some rounds keyholed. Lee dies work, sorta...had to use a bullet as a shim in the seating die to seat the bullet flush. Cases must be annealed. I plan to try the dip in molten lead method. Also, this is weird, but I size, decapping pin removed, after seating the bullet, just enough to fit in the chamber, and crimp the bullet. Case trimming is a problem with the Lee trimmer. If you don't trim, theyre too long for the cylinder. I'm either gonna fab up a guage, or get a better trimmer. Reloading Nagant 7.62x38 is not for the faint of heart. But if you like a challenge...

As did Alexander the grate, who also co-sponsored this piece of excrement, I emailed him to take responsibility for enabling the Gibson raid, to introduce a bill to repeal Lacey, and to submit his resignation. Was I too harsh? That's nothing compared to what will transpire if they come after my guitars.

Since none of these is a "good" reason, guess I'll just forget the whole idea. IANAL...ANAY

The snap caps are not to blame there...

I doubt we'll see this in the Tennessean, as it would be difficult to fit that much factual information on that narrow paper they use now. Seriously - for the first time in ages, I read a real paper Tennessean at lunch the other day. Finished reading before I finished eating!

If you are in legal jeopardy for using reloaded ammo in self-defense, you are already in trouble, IMO. I'm considering SD loads for short barrel applications, based in part on this tidbit from Accurate: IANAL, but that statement alone should be a effective rebuttal to a legal ammo challenge. I'll keep good records, and hold some rounds in reserve, just in case.

Careful here - this statement alone could get her fired, if they are so inclined. JMO

I do appreciate the heads-up; as this will certainly be used against TN gun owners. Already cited on TV news. I won't exactly call the article balanced; as Mr. Haas cites the UT LEIC, Harvard's ICRC, and the VPC, all anti-gun; before finally allowing a single rebuttal from the TFA. I doubt the anti-rights folks will even read down that far. No input from NRA, JPFO, GOA, SAF, or any other national organization to counter the VPC.

Meet at a public location, usually wally. If anything, I ask them to show TDL - and I don't even read it, let alone remember. Just a quick look at the picture. Of course if C&R I would have to get info for my bound book.

^^ What they said...BTW, congratulations!!!

Nothing like a little perjury to liven things up! Sharyl Attkisson of CBS was on Laura Ingraham's show and reports getting yelled at by Tracy somebody at DOJ, and screamed at by Eric Schultz of the White House. Audio link at Sipsey Street - worth your 10 minutes, IMO. -

And I just learned the "three stupid rule:" "Do not go stupid places, with stupid people, and do stupid things." Applies even while driving - just get away from 'em, if at all possible. -
Here in Jimtown, we got a smallmart back in the 90's. A couple of family owned businesses closed, but wally employed more than all the lost businesses combined - and not just family members, either. We also gained a couple of food stores - lion and city - life was good. Then we got super-centered. Now, savealittle is the only other grocery store in town, and there are only two other grocery stores in the county. We're trying to keep them alive, and wally only as a last resort. TIFWIW

I've read numerous accounts of various departments cooking the books for political reasons. Without uniformly applied standards, the data are meaningless.

There are far more negative media stories surrounding OC about anything than positive ones. FYP

A better use of your finger would be to dial up and report this idiot. He (almost successfully) executed a classic insurance maneuver - cut you off and force you into his rear. Your fault. He gets a new ride. Your horn-blowing likely had nothing to do with it. Your gesture, while emotionally satisfying, escalated the incident. His gestures constitute assault, IMO.
