  1. Are we safe yet? No. Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.
  2. If AK-47's should only be in the hands of soldiers, why did O and Holder sell so many of 'em to the cartels?
  3. TODAY'S QUESTION: Should Congress re-enact the assault weapon ban? (Poll closes at 7 p.m.) On right side of page, scroll down a click to QUESTION OF THE DAY The Morning Call No's lead 52-48%, so click the link and hit it...
  4. First the brand name stuff: Dan Wesson (15-2V6 .357) Ruger (LCR .357, 22/45, P85MkII, sold a Charger) Beretta (Bobcat .22, Tomcat .32) Smith & Wesson (Model 36 .38Spl, traded a 438 snubby) KelTec (P32 & PF9, nary a misfire with either) ISSC .22 Then the milsurps: CZ-82 Radom P64 Nagant revolver (Tula) Romanian Tokarev TTC Then the black powder: Pietta .44 Navy Juker .45 Last the junk: Intratec Tec .38 Jennings J22
  5. FYI, Dave - you should research Mike McNulty and Dave Hardy a bit before characterizing them as "bleeding heart liberals."
  6. Mike McNulty, producer of "Waco - The Rules Of Engagement" and David Hardy, "Of Arms and the Law" are producing a new documentary about Fast and Furious, Gunwalker/runner, etc. Follow the links for details. They are using Kickstarter (link to fundraising page) to raise funds for the project. Basically consists of taking pledges for the next month, which will only be collected if their goal is met. After researching the project, I contributed... (I am not affiliated with this project, just passing along info to those interested.)
  7. I've posted before on my wife's Bobcat/Tomcat combo, so I'll spare you the details and just +1 it.
  8. Have a new P-32, 130 rounds so far, 100% Bought a used PF9, 49 rounds (of my reloads) so far, 100% Both serve their intended purpose.
  9. Today: Radom P64 9x18 Makarov, w/Hornady XTP's, IWB; Kel-Tec P-32 .32ACP w/ Fiocchi XTP's in left front pocket. I'll carry the Ruger .357 LCR if I'm outdoors and want something more bigger.
  10. Was wanting to get another case from Aim back before Christmas, but I bought a guy's obama stash for about $0.17 per round - a lot of it commercial, too. Glad I got it...
  11. Curt was a lifesaver on the magazine release. I was so grateful I bought his DVD. Good SKS tips, too.
  12. Mine's up in June. Received my renewal form first week in March. Filled it out, same basic info as a 4473; wrote 'em a $30 check, and cc'd the local sheriff. I'm a little leery of the lapse and renew strategy; especially if it cause me to miss a sale!
  13. Done, thanks for the link.. Added comments about NRA membership, and not patronizing businesses which do not respect MY rights.
  14. At Sportsman's Warehouse (Hamilton) yesterday...Win primers $27.99/1k, but sold out of small pistol, and not many left of other sizes - did manage a couple boxes of small magnum. Also no 1lb. containers of Unique or Bullseye. Ammo supplies looked good.
  15. Done, laptop & desktop - free download ends tonight, so get on with it! Bump
  16. FYI - Free download for your Kindle thru Monday, March 5 - This is a novel along the lines of "Black Sunday" or any Tom Clancy book. Get it at Amazon or oogle "Operation #EFAD" for more info. This book has similarities to the ATF Fast & Furious Gunwalker scandals, and is made available for free to call attention to that. So far, it's a good read. Operation #EFAD
  17. FYI, Aim Surplus has the Golden Saber's for $15.
  18. Second the motion here, specifically on the Gold Dot or Golden Saber. Substantially hotter than .38+P, yet recoil is very manageable. And both loads reduce muzzle flash. Really like the LCR and really want the .22 - just because!
  19. Bought some Priv Partisan 7.62x54r ammo from Aim Surplus at a decent price, for future reloading. Looks like good brass.
  20. I just tell the nice lady I am 18 and 21 - plus a few more!
  21. My LCR is an occasional carry. Pocket carry, dress or cargo pants/shorts OK - prints in jeans, though. Sometimes carry in a belly band, when walking/running. The LCR tends to ride up a bit, and would eventually walk right out if I let it. My S&W with a hammer spur doesn't have this problem. I too will go IWB eventually.
  22. We got Norris and Nugent...what else do you want?
  23. Why? The 2nd Amendment is Number Two!
  24. If I know a dealer supports mandatory background checks on private sales, then I won't purchase from them, period.
