1. Obviously 'sock control' since 'feces control' would put all the networks out of business.
2.   All good suggestions, but since Piers prefers muskets, or maybe a fowling piece..well, either of those would do the job!
3. Mike Flynn at Breitbart makes some good points, and I hope he's right.   Three Reasons Gun Control Isn't Going to Happen   In short: 1. Biden Gun Violence Task Force. In Washington, blue-ribbon task forces are reserved for issues where you want the appearance of taking action, without having to actually do anything. 2. 2014 Mid Term Elections. It is unlikely Harry Reid wants to add to the Democrats' challenge by making gun control an issue in the midterm. 3. Obama's Press Conference Today. (E)very question at the presser was on the fiscal cliff.  This suggests the the press corps doesn't really put a lot of stock into all the current noise about gun control.
4. NRA member, for now. That may change Friday.   Using the NRA Contact Us link, I let them know that I would cancel membership immediately if their "meaningful contributions" included any further restrictions on our gun rights.   How do you herd a 800 lb gorilla?
5. I sent a couple of politicians pink slips last go round...one of 'em worked.
6. My favorite part of the article:     A few more comments like that and Niceley might get his "+" back!
7. Hadn't really planned anything, but Davidson's finally got some Rossi R92's in .357 Mag in stock. Got the 16" in stainless - the last one.   Should remain legal - cowboy assault rifle and all that.   Got plenty of mags and ammo so no worries there. Still writing letters, e-mails, answering polls, etc.
8. Thanks, David, for this and all you do.   I just used the NRA Contact Us link, and let them know that I would cancel membership immediately if their "meaningful contributions" included any further restrictions on our gun rights.
9. I knew the family in the other car in that accident. Good people.   The Westboro bunch is beyond despicable.
10. Done. I haven't bought much from them, and refused to pay separate shipping charges from each warehouse. Their pre-emptive gun ban was the last straw. E-mailed them to stop sending me crap.
11. Done...also other similar petitions, and polls.   Also contacted senators and congress critters about the futility of "gun free zones."   FWIW
12. Speaking of Stranger:     Given the predictions of a 'Reichstag Fire' type of event; coupled with the fact that many of Friday' media reported 'facts' were wrong - makes you wonder... :tinfoil:
13. How long until the panic buying stops?!
14. By year's end, IMHO.
15. WDVX - indy radio out of Knocksville - Harlem River by Justin Townes Earle on right now.
16.
I'm somebody now!
Are you a curio, or just a relic? Congrats!
17. Relatively new to reloading, so I don't do rifle calibers yet. Of my centerfire pistol rounds, I don't load 7.62 x 25 Tokarev, or .32 ACP. I can buy real bullets (9mm or .357) cheaper than the .32 and I haven't found a suitable mold for casting the little buggers. I do have a 90 grain .32 Lee mold that works for the Nagant.
18.
... I just feel more comfortable if I'm the only one armed. ...
I assume by your location this was a federal park ranger, an "Only One" in David Codrea parlance. Each such incident makes me a little less comfortable.
19.
... Now Pro Gun/2A 13: Gerald McRaney: Lifelong hunter and gun supporter.
...and his Simon & Simon costar, Jamison Parker, is a self-defense advocate and gun writer. This following a near fatal event with a neighbor a few years ago. (edit punctuation)
20. In the Vol's unfulphilled quest for a smart, even supurier coach, these strong grumors are madden-ing; especially in the aftermath of da'wreck doolie and lame kitten.
21. Can we secede, then call it the Untied States of America?
22. I have an couple of older CVA's I shoot a 250+ grain REAL cast bullet over 90 grains Pyrodex. Shot a deer Saturday, hit high (shooter error!) Went thru both shoulder blades and spine, she dropped like a rock. In other words, lighter loads are plenty for whitetails.
23.
Don't forget the internet. See ya!
Nope, still here. Difference is that you are paying for content with TV, but only for access with the web. Unlike TV, if you don't view, they don't get paid. At least for now.
24. At the end of the 2008, ocasionally hunting, I only had .22, .38, and 12 gauge, about 2 dozen rounds combined. So I went to local wally... They didn't have any. Well, a few boxes of shotgun, mostly target, no slugs or buck. No .22 or .38 spl. at all. Panicked - went to everything within driving distance - box or two at a time. Signed up for HCP class, and finally found .38 for the snubby - one box of 50, a week before qualifying, no practice. Slowly stocked up, as ammo returned. A box or two per payday. Got into C&R. Found TGO, et al. Got a Lee anniversary kit and started reloading. Won't happen again.
