  1. Just ordered a trio from SOG, $94 each. I'm sure they'll be dogs - but I can't resist strays! :)
  2. Aim still had Priv Partisan, at least this morning. I bought another 100 rounds, as I may have to reload these eventually. Also a couple more boxes of 7.62x38, already reloading those.
  3. Participated, but with reservations. Has the pap about enforcing existing gun laws, most of which are IMO unconstitutional. The Ruger letter cannot be edited, but I changed "Sincerely," to "Repeal existing gun laws."   I feel better now.
  4. My email to Remington:     I'm trying to take action daily to support and preserve our rights. Every little bit helps.
  5. Refuted per Weapon-Blog's Aaron Spuler:
  6. Armed with only signs? Might as well wave a white flag...   I understand concerns about commando-hunters and such like, but I will not disarm to demonstrate my right to keep and bear arms.
  7. Every day is Gun Appreciation Day. ;)   That said, I'll find a way to participate.
  8. Via contact us at Walmart Corporate I sent this last night:     Do likewise if you're so inclined. Plagarize freely!   Edit: NRA may get a similar notice. I will be an unhappy camper if Wayne compromises with Joe Biden Biteme.
  9. What? 3 pages and no Glock Revolver?!
  10.   Actually they do mean squat - when the anti's win. They'll bray about it nonstop.   That's whay it's important to shoot 'em down. It's a giant game of whackamole (whack a poll?) but when we win, they can't use it against us.
  11. I've e-mailed Alexander, Corker, Desjerlais, and Black.   Will be calling their offices this week, either local or DC.   Renewed GOA and JPFO; my NRA not up until May. Thinking about SAF again, but will want to avoid their constant fund raising calls.   I've e-mailed cheaper than dicks, etc. Polls, petitions, and comments - to many to mention. These things aren't particularly effective, but if you throw up enough flak, you'll eventuallly hit something.
  12. I have the LCR in .357 Magnum. If you carry the magnums, it's wise to carry a round optimized for the short barrel, such as Golden Saber (my preference) Gold Dots, or Critical Defense. Besides the reduced recoil, muzzle flash is the main consideration; and you still gain about 100-200 fps over .38 +p. And if you can always opt to carry .38's; you'll have 3 more ounces of gun (vs. LCR 38) to help manage the recoil.   Also, the grip is a bit wider than most S&W's, enough to hinder pocket carry.
  13. I just got a Rossi R92 16" stainless in .357 - my thinking was to have a rifle I could carry around without getting swat-ted, especially if I have to bury have a boating accident with the semis. ;)   From what I've read, these are hit or miss, but I got a good one - excellent trigger, feeds both .357 and .38's GoG had 27 in stock today, for a couple of bills less that the Marlin.
  14. I've bought 2 from GoG, no problem. Use the Gun Genie, choose your gun, get quotes, pick your best deal/closest dealer, enter your personal/payment info.   And my closest local GoG dealer, Mixon's Emporium, also had the best price within 25 miles!
  15. We must ban large capacity assault wagons - and do it now - for the children!
  16.   IMO largest school massacre in US history.
  17. A forced buyback might force some folks to shoot back...
  18. That's a good start, Ruble Noon. Keep it brief and to the point. They just have some gopher to read all those, and give a total for/against to the legislator.   Welcom to TGO!
  19. Not a problem for me, since I cut the satellite after the 'election' I don't have to watch.
  20. I guess we have no rights unless we speak like Charleton Heston...
  21. Seeing those names along with 'fool' 'Beretta' and 'problem' just makes my head hurt.
  22.   ...or ever will be.
  23. I couldn't care less what Horrendo Revolver thinks.
  24. I choose neither. When the man says it's time to register 'em, we'll know it's time to start using 'em.
