What are you planning to do on the 1911?

I paid $439 + tax for a 442(No Lock). couple months back. $400 sounds OK.

Maybe they are just trying to clear their backlog; first time I ordered from them the delivery was 6 wks or just under. Now it was 12 most of the time. Great holsters though.

How would this affect those establishments who hire their own armed security?? Off-duty would not even be allowed then.

KD holsters are great. Bought my first one for XD45 when the wait was only 6 wks. Have one for 5" and 4.25" 1911's now; had to wait longer on them. Dakota Defender; great quality.

I have Truglo TFO's on my XD45, i like them but have had trouble with the sights failing. The rear left pipe went first and Truglo replaced it for free (2-3 months after having them put on) and the front is noticeably dimmer. I probably wasn't as careful as i should have been with cleaning chemicals around them. I bought mine from xd-hs2000.com and just sent them my slide and had it back shortly. May want to check before u send it to make sure they aren't doing alot of duracoat at that time or it my be a while before u get it back. I have Trijicon's on my bobtail commander, the tfo will be replaced with them if they go out completely again on the xd.

There wouldn't be a shortage if these people would stop running to fill up their tanks. Kangaroo put up their stupid sign asking people to ration and only pump 10 gallons(so they all pump 20+ of course). Then the idiots on the news start reporting it and then people freak out and start topping off their tanks for no reason. All those running out to fill up are going to bring out $5/gallon gas. It would be $4/gallon with just the refinery's down; probably.

I managed to stop by their store a couple times now and haven't had any problems with their ammo .223 55gr 1000 .45 185gr 1000 (230gr has never been in stock when i stop by) .45 +P 230gr Gold Dot .357 125gr Gold Dot and some of their 44mag loads able to get a little money back on the brass i had, not great but i don't plan on reloading any time soon. only ammo i don't get from them is for my M1A i ordered 7.62x51 146gr Lithuanian ammo from The Armory and have had good luck with it. It's M80 spec and will be alot cheaper than from Sportsmans Guide. The Armory I got 600 rounds shipped for less than $325.

I've had a Stainless Series II 5" for about 3 yrs now and havn't had any problems with it. Feeds and extracts fine, no broken parts yet, only replaced the grips.

The capacity was taken down to 14 when New Jersey lowered the legal limit to that amount. At first Marlin just shortened the mag tube and then later the barrel itself was shortened. I have an older model 60 (18 rounds) that doesn't lockback on the last round also, but can be locked back manually.
