  1. Palmetto State Armory puts it on sale periodically. Every weekend they have specials. I was able to get a couple 50rd boxes for stupid cheap. Before shipping I think I paid $20 or so a box plus shipping. Cheaper than what a 20rd box costs at most retailers. Never hurts to subscribe to their email alerts.
  2. I gave mine to my wife and it's pretty tempting to pick up another. I think I'm going to keep holding out for the new CZ. We both love the 43. In fact, when I showed my father-in-law mine, he went out and bought one as well as my brother-in-law. Seems I'm a bad influence on my wife's side of the family. Haha
  3. Every time someone replies in this thread it makes me think someone found that they were available for sale. Ya'll quit getting my hopes up!
  4. I figured since we're in the handgun forum we were sticking to multiple of the same handgun. Long guns are a totally different story...
  5. I've done this with 3 different firearms. First are my Beretta 92 series just because I really like them and got an awesome deal on a Wilson Combat 92G to compliment my 92fs Centurion. I'm after the M9A3 andl an M9 or M9A1 as well. I collect the Vickers Tactical Glock 17's so I have one of each color. And lastly, I've owned a few of the FN FiveseveN pistols. I'm down to 2 of them and bought my last one because it was a good deal. I also liked it being all black with the forward cocking serrations instead of dark grey with light grey controls and it looking a little odd up front. MHO of course. Love how they shoot! hlb14, you've got to be the only person I know that has multiples of a carry gun. My thinking would be to have one that I carry and shoot. That way I know the gun and how it shoots and the type of rounds it likes.
  6. The PPS M2 has intrigued me as a carry gun. I bought a G43 last year to replace my XDS 45. I get it home and my wife (gf at the time) picked it up and declared she liked it and wanted to have it as a carry gun instead of her Sig. I gave in and dug my G19 out of the safe to carry. I also have a PPQ that I love to shoot and fits really well in my hand. Curious to hear your impressions of the PPS when you get some range time. I've held one but don't know anyone that has one. I'd like to have another single stack 9 for a carry gun but I can't narrow down what I want just yet. Too many options!
  7. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish I had bought some of this for my Father in law. I know he would get a kick out of the name. Wouldn't mind a bottle of my own just for kicks as well.
  8. I carry a G19 myself. It's my favorite size for a Glock. They're nothing to write home about, but they work and the aftermarket is huge for them. So finding a holster that you like or other accessories would be easier than the others. That being said, I also own a 75 SP01. Amazing handgun and just feels right in the hand. It's strictly a range gun and not something I ever plan to carry. P07 feels good in the hand and very similar in size to the 19. A guy I work with has one and can't speak any more highly about it. I work part time in gun retail so I get to handle quite a few that are on the market. If you're looking at compact handguns and are interested in CZ's, you may want to hold out a bit for the new P10c. Supposed to have an awesome trigger in it and worth a look. I would also suggest a look at the 320c. I think any of them would fit the bill. Personally, I would say the 75b compact would be the nicest.
  9. I thought or read that they weren't supposed to be available until the first of the year. I haven't seen or heard anything definite yet but I'm patient. Hoping to pick up a P10C after my tax return comes in.
  10. Count me in as another that can't wait to get my hands on one. I bought a 43 to replace my XDS as a carry gun. I got it home and my wife decided she wanted it and now carries it instead of her Sig. So I had to pull my 19 back out of the safe. I really like my 19 but have been wary of doing trigger work on a carry gun. My PPQ and VP9 are range guns only and I love the PPQ trigger. When MAC said the P10's trigger puts the PPQ to shame and it fits my 19 holster, he had my attention. Not to mention the price point. Just wish I got a discount on CZ's...
  11. Hey everyone, Just happened to be cruising through the web and found this site. We moved to Chattanooga this past summer for my wife's career. Got into firearms back when I was in the Army and have been collecting for about 11 years or so now. Excited to find new sources of info for my obsession. Will be here for about 6 more months until we have to move again for her career. Hoping to add a few more to the safe in the mean time as well as others' knowledge. I'm a collector of Mil-Surps, preban guns and assorted pistols. I pretty much like having what no one else at the range has or has no clue what it is. It's no fun having what everyone else has 5 of. Looking forward to reading and learning more here.
