  1. She does lick her paws quite a bit, and scratch her sides/under arms often and really enjoys a back scratch. We did find a flea right after she got here, but just one and our other dogs have no symptoms of any kind.
  2. .
  3. So we have a rescue retriever/lab mix about 2 years ild and we have had her a few months now, the people we got her from just had a baby and couldnt devote the time they once did. So she has not been abused, and definitely not underfed. But they gave her a bath about 3 times a week or more, with regular shampoo and the poor things coat was as dry and brittle as straw. We have only given her a bath about once a month and with shampoo made for her. Now on to the problem, when we got her there were these spots, and some small scabs on her, I just contributed it to the excessive shampooing and dry skin. But now a few months later and they are still there and maybe even a little worse, and they are prtty much all over her, but seem to be more so on the legs, paws, and tail. I thought mybe mange, or hot spots but the pics I have found on the net dont really look like that. We have 2 other dogs and between my wife and I have had dogs for most of our lives but have never seen anything like this. I have attached some pics, we plan on taking her to the vet after Thanksgiving, but just thought I would see what you guys thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Nope. 42 and 43 interchange but not on anything else.
  5. Went yesterday and picked it up, hassel free and enjoyed the trip.
  6. Any body know if they allow local pick up of an auction? I found something on GB bt it ends tonight, so nochance to contact them before it ends. I just dont want to bid win and have to pay shipping and transfer fee and tax, would definitely be a deal breaker.
  7. I want to say that the same guys that owned 2nd amendment owned a shop in the Russellville/Auburn KY area. Not sure if it closed when the other did or not.
  8. As of today according to their facebook page they are shipping.
  9. I am headed to the mountains in the morning for a little fall family getaway, and the wife and I want to visit the distillery and take the tour, etc. but we have a 3 and 7 year old with us, so question is will they be allowed in? I am thinking they will, not like the are going to be drinkng or attempting to purchase anybof the shine. Do any of you have any knowledge of this?
  10. The whole family has theirs, shots for me and the wife and youngest and mist for the oldest boy. I actually got mine the first of September but the rest didnt get theirs til the first of October. I work for a pharmacy and we have been peddling them since the first week of August. The current flu shots are from a dead strain of flu, it is impossible to get the flu from these shots. Many moons ago when they gave live viruses as shots, it was a very real possibility, but that hasnt been the case in decades.
  11. Anyone know if there is a dealer that carries Talon grips in the Nashville area and is open today?
  12. Guns and leather in Greenbrier and Springfield Arms in Springfield.

    Glock 43

Just the regular one, but I bent it very slightly in, made a big difference in that little tweaking. I have heard the edge Pro is very good but requires a little more fitting.

    Glock 43

$.25 trigger job and the Ghost Edge connector in my 43 and I have a very nice 5 1/2 lb trigger. And I love my 43, so much so that I sold both my Shield and XDs.
  15. There were close to that many there this morning at the 8 event, and they had 3 more sessions to go thru today.
  16. I am going, hell if nothing else its a cool experience. I went to register for it and the only slots available are 8am and there were only about 30 left. Wonder how many they started with.
  17. Anyone had their windows tinted there recently? Been about 6 years since I had to have windows done, planning on going soon and was wondering if they still did a good job? And what the prices were now? Last time I had some done it was 2 fronts and a windshield strip and it was about $80 OTD.
  18. Very good write up, I toyed with the idea of getting one of those CDs, and even found a used one for $259 but just couldnt get it after a fiasco with a CD 1911. After reading this now I regret I didnt.
  19. GnL was very fair priced, not gonna quote it in case it is not going to be that for future ahipments, and dont want to put Daniel on the spot. But it was well under MSRP and I dis not mind paying the price for it. Course if it had been cheaper I wouldnt have minded that either.
  20. Didn't realize that much of it was showing. Took care of it. Thanks
  21. Well finally got an answer, they will not cover non rx eyewear. Oh well.
  22. As a funny side note, the fired case was collected on April first. Got me an April Fool's Glock. :D
  23. Thanks to Daniel at Guns and Leather, I am the new proud owner of the single stack 9 Glock 43. Picked it up yesterday and proceeded to put 200 uneventful rounds downrange, had one brass to the face but I can't swear that wasn't bouncing off the range stall, it was during a mag dump. I love it, will definitely replace my edc XDs when I get night sights ( should be here this weekend). Very soft shooting and extremely happy with it. If you are a Glock fan I definitely recommend it. Waiting on background check First 12 rounds slow fire at ~7 yards. First 50 ~7yrds fairly rapid fire.
  24. I just want a smooth faced trigger, oem factory is fine. The grooves irritate me, if I can't swap out a 42 for it I will just sand them down.
  25. I don't mind going for the exam, gotta take my son in a few weeks anyway. I was just wondering if I could use it, never have seems a waste to pay for it every week and not use it. My wife makes good use of it, she has mine and her work's plan, so she pays like $20 a year in copays and gets exam and enough contacts to make it a year.
