What gen are the mags? What gen is the gun? I think those circles are just molding marks
-
Im not sure that a plug would help, unless the backstrap portion was out of spec, which unless they did a grip reduction shouldn't be. You van buy a new frame for $100 thru Glock. You could take the tightest fitting mags and use some fine sandpaper and sand them down until they fall free. Or if you are feeling really adventureous, you can use one of the tight fitting mags and a heat gun to soften the magwell and expand it til the mags are loose, note this would be my absolute last resort, and would probably just live with tight mags before I did this. If I had the extra $100 I would most likely jist get a new frame, if that isnt an option next would be sanding mags or living with it.

Ok, next step, is it doing it with all mags or only certain mag/s. Are the mags what came with the gun or have you tried others? They could be possibly some that are near the larger end of the size spectrum, and are hanging up.

Depending on how much modification/stippling was done, the magwell may be deformed. It wouldnt take much grinding, melting of polymer to bend it slightly out of spec or to weaken the polymer to the point that the pressure from your grip in conjunction with trying to release the mag causes it to hang. My suggestion is to strip the mag release completely out, take the top end off, and try inserting mags and see if the hang up when let go, if there is nothing holding them they should fall out as soon as you move your hand, however if there is any lag time, then the magwell is out of spec.

Anybody local to Nashville/Clarksvile area stock these, or is it a internet order only kinda thing?
-
Anyone have a flat trigger in their glock? They intrique me. Not sure I want one, but kinda think it would make a good improvement. So if you have any experience with them, let me know your feedback and which one you had/have. And if you have any deals on them, most I have seen are in the $125 range, are there any cheaper?

If I had the money it would be mine that is my grail gun.

This week has sucked. On Wednesday, during the first round of snow, wrecked my truck. Slid into the concrete wall seperating the N/S lanes on interstate. $2800 estimate $500 deductible. Yesterday trying to make it to work, slid wife's car into ditch about 100 yards from the house. Wife twisted her ankle trying to help, nice guy stops to pull me out, he busts his tire on a concrete culvert that was covered up with snow. Only thing he has to hook to is the rear axle of wifes car, gets me out and home. He un hooks and is gone before I can even offer to help him out. Then this morning driving wifes car to work and has a very noticeable shimmy in it, not sure if the axle is bent or tire needs balancing or just a lot of ice and snow build up. But I am like WTF? It just keeps getting worse. I am going to hibernate and not come out until June. Rant off.

I have removed several of the plugs swapping safety models in out and for friends, adding said safety to one that didn't have Nd removing from ones that did etc. I do not see how it is possible that the plugs moved enough, without some outside forcei.e. Kitchen table smithing, to tie up one from working. They are very snug I mean cursing snug within the fire control group. And if the plugs are not put in correctly the fcg is not going back in. Now they are just made of polymer and I can see someone "trimming" the plugs to make it easier to reinstall the fcg. I was tempted a time or two myself. I would be willing to bet that is most likely what caused the gun to tie up, I just cannot believe the oem plugs and fcg without any modifications would do that.

Ozarks Holsters hybrid, it is a Crossbreed type made by a member of the Sigforum, he usually has them out within a week and they are $50 for forum members. Lifetime warranty. I have one for every pistol I own. I dont know what he does different than the Crossbreed, but even if it wasnt cheaper, I would buy his over the CB.

Vote for Jeff at GnL. He has done several things for me and always a good job and fair price/time.
-
Its a private individual. Has 2 holsters also, it a little bit of a drive, but value wise I think it is worth it.
-
I have a line on a LE model with 2 holsters for $650. Hopefully will be mine firstbof the week.

So fondled one today and now have a itch for one. Who has one and what can you tell me about it.

Got a LCP stainless slide and a TLR-6 for my Glock 43, some .22 ammo, a Benchmade Presidio auto and still have another family function with presents in about an hour. Do it was a very good Christmas present wise. I think they felt pity on me because I am working. And got my boys a Red Ryder and a Buck bb gun.

Regardless of the outcome, thank you all for the generous opportunity and Merry Christmas to everyone!
