Okay, time to buy a new one the old ones wheels are about to pop off. So what do you have and what would you recommend? First no Zero turns, would like to have one, but not in the budget. I need something to mow +- an acre, couple of inclines and a couple of trees. Looking to spend about a grand. The 42" Yard Man at Wal Mart is looking good to me. What would you guys get?

You know, I never did until I met my wife, who worked at Sonic in high school, and was informed that you do. And my sister in law is a manager at Sonic and they still get tips. Pretty damn good ones too. My wife used to clear $100 bucks on a Saturday in the summer. She would work 2 nights and a weekend day and get $200 in tips and another 100 on her check. She also informed me that they deserve it just as much as any other waitress, and you know I think she might have a point. How many other waitresses bring your food in rain, snow, below freezing temps, 100+ degree heat, which by the way is amplified by the asphalt and the heat from the engines of all the cars that they are waiting on. So if nothing else, just round up your order and let them keep the change( if it is $5.20 just give them $6, I mean really what good is that $.80, but if they wait on 100 people and all give $.80 that's $80 in tips.)

So I just called the ATF. I have had a C&R for 5 weeks now. Problem is they sent it to the wrong city. They had my address right, but had 37122 as the zip instead of 37172. So it had been sent to Mt. Juliet. The lady was very nice about it and fixed it and issued me a new one to be sent to the correct address.

Okay, kinda what I thought. Our bill was $16 ish and I left 2 bucks, and only had 1 refill. So I guess that was acceptable.

Okay, so we have a new buffet in town, not bad food, but not the world's best either. Anyway, the question is do you leave a tip? It is the type where a waitress seats you and gets your drink, but then there are floaters that are in the dining area and they take away the plates and get refills, and such. Now I think you should leave a tip, but just curious as to who actually gets the tip. Is it a big pool that they all split at the end of the shift, or what? Or are tips not required?

That's what i thought, but I sent in my paperwork the first of April and the check was cashed on April 10th. But I still have not heard anything. Then when I was doing some research on a way to check up on the app., I noticed the phone number to the Atlanta office was sure alot like this number that has been calling recently, just thought it was a telemarketer, so I have not answered. Of course they have not called in the last couple of days, and the wife erased all of the caller id's yesterday ( she has issues with the cid). So I guess I just need to be patient.

Is there any interview with an ATF agent, in person or by phone, before you receive a C&R? Or is it just sent once it is approved. Thanks for any info.

That's about where I figured it would fall. I had a friend trying to sell one and was asking $500 for it , stock with nightsights and 2 mags. He didn't even get any offers until he dropped it to $450, he finally took $425 for it about a month later. Kicking myself everyday for not snatching it up when I had the chance.
