  1. This. I've dry fired the hell out of mine and it has really smoothed out, not as nice as prerecall, but definitely an improvement.
  2. I carry because I love my wife, life and kids and want to continue to have all of them.
  3. I believe the guy at D&T just does the hybrid style. Guns and leather Greenbrier carries some of the style you are talking about from a local maker. Might give them a call and see if they can send you in the right direction.
  4. That was kinda my findings too. Seemed they were priced all over, thats why I thought I might get a little more real world advice.
  5. Ive got a like new Browning Hi Power mk III 9mm with box etc. It hurts the web of my hand to shoot, so I am considering selling or trading it. What's it worth? Cash wise?
  6. Thanks for all the info and opinions, they have been very useful. This will strictly be for forum browsing and email checking. Going today to put hands on and see just what they feel like.
  7. I am going to get a late birthday present for myself. But just cant decide, I use an iphone so I am familiar, but have no experience with the ipad or a tablet for that matter. So those that do, what is your suggestion, the ipad ipad air mini with retina without?
  8. I had this guy contact me about the Kahr I had for sale. Wanted me to come to his house because his car was in the shop. Spidey sense went off by the way he keep offering more money for my trouble and kept coming up with reasons he couldnt meet in a public place. Sure glad I followed my gut on this one. Hope the little bastard gets put under the jail. He contacted me thru Armslist under the name John Bowen. I called Metro and ledt my info and was told a detective would be contacting me.
  9. My .02 if you have more than 1 extra mag than what usually comes with the gun, or nice holster. You are better off being competitive with the pri ing on just the basic gun and selling the extra mags holsters etc. seperately. Alot of times even if it is a great deal with extras it is hard to sell people on the added price of all that is included. Hope that made sense when you read it, makes sense in my head but gets lost in translation sometimes.
  10. That is freaking awesome. She should be getting an A +.
  11. Revelatio Model 400 is engraved on the receiver but that is all I can find, not even a serial number.
  12. Just picked one up, what can you guys tell me about them. Did a quick search and not too much info out there. Value, parts availabilty, parts interchangeability etc.
  13. Im waiting for the compact version.
  14. Hhehehehhehe. (Giggling like a school girl) and all giddy inside waiting for JACK!
  15. Does anyone make a IWB leather with kydex lining either full or just around the mouth to make it easier to reholster. I really want a nice leather IWB HOLSTER, but all that I have tried cannot be reholstered without a lot of twisting , turning and cursing. i have a Crossbreed and I can reholster it fairly easy, looking for the same ease of holstering in a leather holster made like a Milt Sparks versa max or something similar. So does anyone know of a holster maker that is doing something similar to what I described?
  16. Log man actually did a M&P mag mod for me also a couple of years ago. Basically took a full size mag and made it Glock 19 sized. He is truly a magician with metal work. Last time I talked to him he said he was upwards of 5,000, yes thousand, EMP mags modded. And that was last year. He told me that the custom shop is even directing people to him if they inquire about flush mags. I just can't understand why Springfield Armory doesn't have these available. Oh well, good for Richard.
  17. I am actually the one that got him started doing that mod with my original EMP. I saw onr that John Harrison had done for his daughters EMP and contacted him and several other smiths at the time and no one was interestedbin doing it, so I posted it on 1911forum looking for anybleads on havingbit done. Richard aka Log Man and I worked out the details and he has been doing them ever since. And I did picknone up last weekend and sent 2 of the mags to him on Monday, got them back today. And it is the absolute best thing you can do to the EMP.
  18. Sounds more like a cya attempt by the promoters in case any suit is ever filed.
  19. :(
  20. Awww. Come on. I got a nice Glock 34 and cash, or just cash.
  21. I sure would like to find one of those 800-1000 ones.
  22. I had one of these a while back and really liked it, had to sell it while I was unemployed, but have started lookingaround for one and DANG. When I sold mine I got $800 for it with 2 extra mags and a holster and it took a while to get rid of, this was about 3 years ago. Now I am seeing them at 1100 and 1200. Have they really gone up that much? Or is it just a case of "my gun is worth this much because I overpayed for it".
  23. Out of stock.
