  1. It seems pretty cut and dried to me. If you receive an email that is against the socialized health care plan, and you find it "suspicious", forward it to the White House.
  2. Ralph, Please, for the sake of the republic, move to Canada or Europe NOW. And take the rest of the socialists with you. Oh, and by the way, you still haven't answered the two very simple questions I asked you on page three of this thread: 1) Why it is our(the taxpayers) responsibility to provide health care for you and your family? 2) Do you really believe that THIS plan will make things better for the MAJORITY of Americans, or just for you?
  3. That was freakin' awesome. I would vote for this guy in a second.
  4. That was very interesting. Thanks for the link.
  5. For a .264, 120 grain would be in the middle range. The .264 Win. Mag. was considered a barrel burner in it's early life at least partially due to inferior quality SS barrels. From everything I've read, the .264WM does still has a small following in long range competition shooting. But even though they are not the barrel burners they once were, they still don't hold up as well as the newer, more popular 6.5mm calibers.
  6. Ralph, I am truly sorry that your wife is unable to get health insurance. Really, I am. All I would like to know is why it is our(the taxpayers) responsibility to provide it for her? And do you really believe that THIS plan will make things better for the majority of Americans, or just for you?
  7. Of course they are. Only whites can be racist, I thought everyone knew that.
  8. Ahh, the old covered wagon. I HAVE done that before. By the way ladies, I'm single.
  9. +1If it were legal(if it isn't?), why would anyone want to hunt WITHOUT a suppressor?
  10. I'd be willing to bet that most, if not all, of those "permit holders" who sent threatening emails weren't permit holders at all. From a strategy standpoint it would be pretty smart, although criminal, for opponents of handgun carry in parks to claim to be permit holders and act threatening. I certainly wouldn't put it past many of the people referred to as "liberals" to do something like that.
  11. Wow! That guy is a psychopath. It's guys like this that give LEO's a bad name. 99.9% of them are good but it only takes one dickhole like this to make everybody look bad. There can be no excuse for something like this. Given the circumstances(fellow officers funeral that day) I could maybe somewhat understand, but not condone, the abusive tirade. But rushing up to the door gun drawn and pressing it into the face of a speeder is way, way out of line.
  12. I have never liked Vick. I never liked him in college. I never liked him in the NFL. And I think he is quite possibly the most overrated player in the history of professional football. And as a dog owner, I think what he did was absolutely despicable. But he did his jail time and I believe he deserves a second chance. However if he screws up just once, he should be gone for good. Having said all that, I will still lose a lot of respect for any team that signs him.
  13. That was an amazing tribute. I'm not normally the emotional kind, but I'll admit that I got a bit choked up watching that.
  14. :rofl:That episode of South Park is where I learned everything I know, or will ever know, about WOW.
  15. I don't have an iPhone myself, but I was talking to a guy at the range a while back that had a shot timer app for his. Almost made me want one. Apparently you can even get ballistics calculator apps for them too, but I haven't seen those or know anyone who has used one.

    TV Marathon

    I love that show. Hilarious.
  17. Sent my emails as well. Anyone who wants to get these alerts directly can sign up for them at GOA's website. I'm pretty sure you don't have to be a member of GOA to get the alerts, but if you don't mind spending a few bucks join up. I'm still an NRA member, but I belong to the GOA too. I prefer the GOA's no compromise stance on gun issues.
  18. It's just like the stimulus package that was passed before it could possibly have even been read, much less understood.
  19. I can remember when dealerships around here(Tri-Cities) used to give away shotguns or rifles with vehicle purchases all the time. I haven't seen anything like it in a while though.
  20. Very nice essay.
  21. I would totally buy a car from this guy. Free AK or not.
  22. Single stack 1911 for me too. For polymer pistols it would be the S&W M&P.
  23. Do you have any concept of what this new health care bill entails? It is NOT about helping the poor! We already have Medicaid which is intended to provide for the poor. This is not a bill that seeks to expand Medicaid(which I would not necessarily oppose, it would depend on the wording of the bill- if there were one), it seeks to outlaw private insurance, individual choice in health insurance, to control private enterprise(you could argue that this is a good thing, but history has shown us that government control of private industry is NEVER a "good" thing), and to create government control over all things health care related. This is not about charity, it is about control. Some people will just read a headline that says-" NATIONAL HEALTHCARE WILL PROVIDE FOR EVERYONE" and trust that this will be for the best, without ever doing any research into what the bill will ACTUALLY do.
