  4. Be careful with bleach and dish soap. They can have a chemical reaction that causes dangerous fumes.

  7. I heard one of the car companies bought all their engineers one a few years ago. They could prototype and wind test pretty much on demand versus the old clay models. Stuff like that costs, but speeds up model design. My wife's work had one, but that is because they make plastic and were testing different products they make as media. The guy that ran it just printed Thingverse stuff for 6 months. Lol
  8. I have been eyeing a small printer for a long time. Just keep putting it off because it would just be a cost vector. I see myself going through a lot of spools.lol
  9. @KahrMan So how much of a spool does something like that take?
  10. While I generally like harder music, I will say I saw The Allman Brothers headline a festival and they blew me away. So much energy for hours.
  11. Well that explains my confusion. I thought it was a Thing that had be modified
  12. Sadly, I had to look a second time because it looks so much like a military vehicle
  13. Neat. Wonder if you could do the same by having a detent ball instead of a trigger? If you needed the rifle horizontal, I bet you could use 2 to do that.
  14. That is a cool toolbox, but I cringe to see the price. I have a bottom end Craftsman brand tool box from 2011. More than the Harbor Freight one, but had more drawers. Still a bunch cheaper than the other listed brands. As a low volume home user I would rather buy more tools than a top end tool box. I lived years without one anyway.
  15. I was once told I had a face that belonged on a milk carton...is that the same thing? Lol Sounds like a fun time, but my scheduling would cause fits.
  16. My Dad said in FL he was building a 57 Chevy that pegged the speedometer out at 120 in second gear. If my Papaw had not been a police officer, I bet Dad would have been building cars for 'shine runners. Lol
  17. Looks like they only had 2 size too big uniforms when he got supplies
  18. I know I have seen the forwarding center trick before. Had a guy buy a for-parts cell from me and then file a claim it did not work. Turns out it was already overseas, so I got lucky. eBay would not refund him unless he returned it. I looked at his address and it was that kind of place. Basically private p.o. boxes that auto forward. I don't have to worry lately. Nothing I put up is selling... eBay is just too crowded and has too many pro sellers.
  19. According to all the guys I have dealt with that are not part of this forum, you can just go to a garage sale and pick up a old .22 rifle or 12ga single shot for $20. Now for honesty...In NE TN there are is not anything special beyond what you listed. We tend to buy guns and not sell them. To compound the finding of a good deal, we seem to have a large number of professional gun flippers in the area. They tend to suck up all the good deals and spit them back out as top end priced sales ads the next day. Gets frustrating at times because the seem to have nothing better to do than pound the refresh key on any local gun sale sites. I have resorted to Gunbroker a few times, but the transfer fees are climbing. Shipping, transfer, and bgc usually tack on $55 at least. Makes it hard if you are looking at a $250 gun. Even if you never get to buy anything through the forum, it is well worth joining for all the other interactions.
  20. Nice! I dont want to be in that vest when they hit though. I imagine breathing would hurt the next day.
  21. Welcome. Up in NE TN myself
  22. Hopefully not
  23. If I use gas I just put it in a water bottle and leave the bottle crammed in the hole blocking it. I knew a guy that got burned. He only lived because he screamed right as the gas fumes exploded. He was told most people take a breath and pull the fire into their lungs.
  24. I turned over a block of wood at Dad's woodpile when I was maybe 7. Happened to have a nest under it. I don't remember how I got over/under/through the barbed wire fence. I just know when I got in the house my Mom jerked my shorts and shirt off and several were on my underoos . She tossed me in the tub of water she had run for my sister and started sticking skoal all on the bites. She had stopped smoking by then. I can't remember how many I had, but we stopped counting. Since tgat day I have hated those things. I just got done killing a nest last week where my son got stung on the leg. I was out of gas, but I sprayed an entire can of Raid foaming wasp killer down the hole. Seemed to do the trick.
